Got up a little late today but found time to get in a quick wo. Hopefully tonight I can do some weights, this new doggy thing has gotten in the way of that a little. It will be fun to see what he does when I’m on the ball trying to do flyes, he’ll probably try to lick me or something. He’s so cute. He’s still not too sure if he likes my treadmill. While I’m running, he walks in and out of the room checking up on me. He sniffs it alot too. I can’t wait to talk him on a walk/jog.

Well this weekend was a complete bust in the workout department. The only thing that was even close to working out was we took George out to the back yard and ran around with him a little and raked leaves.

Today however I got right up this morning and jumped on the treadmill. I’m very proud of myself, last week was such a bad week I don’t want another week like that.

HIIT:

300.6 cal / 2.290 miles/ 30 min/ max 6.2

2 cytolean before run

m1: oatmeal, sf maple syrup, raisins, flax seed, wheat germ, san T3, magnesium

m2: banana, nancy’s yogurt, potassium

m3: 1/2 natural pb&j on multi grain bread, yoplait yogurt, 1 cytolean, 1 san T3

m5: grilled chicken salad from jack in the box, I caved and had ranch dressing and it was a damn good salad

So I bought a ‘06 Scion xB in August and I’ve had the windshield replaced twice now do to leaking. So it started leaking again and I took it in last night for the 3rd time. I told them I didn’t want the windshield replaced again, there is nothing wrong with it, there is something else causing the car to leak. I think it needs a sway bar becuase the car shifts and the glass cannot handle the pressure. So I got online yesterday because I figured getting this fixed 3 times was weird and maybe there was something up. Well there is definately something up, I found all kinds of websites and forums of people discussing the same issue, but most of their windshields actually crack and for no reason. So I didn’t get into it last night with the service guy, I told him my thoughts, told him it wasn’t the windshield and I’ll give them one more chance to come up with a solution, if they don’t do as I asked and just replace the windshield then they are going to have one bitchy customer. I’m not going to put up with any of this, in my eyes they sold me a defective vehicle because it started leaking the first week I owned the car and the windshield has never been cracked. So far I’ve gotten rental cars for free, but I’m not paying a deductible and I’m not paying anything. Besides this issue, which really is a minor issue, there is nothing else wrong with the car, I love love love it. But when I pay $15,000+ for a vehicle I don’t want there to be any problems and since I live in Portland I can’t deal with a leaking windshield.  We’ll find out what they say today and we’ll go from there. Wish me luck!

Didn’t work out yesterday. Don’t know what is up with that but I plan on getting my butt in high gear tonight. The only thing I’m nervous about is we are going to get a dog tonight. This will take time and working out might not happen because I’ll need to get to know George. We’re very excited about George, he is a 7 mo. old pure bred Boxer that we are getting for free. This will mean a lot of changes around the house but we’re still excited. Now I’ll have someone to run with and Brenden will have someone to play with. He needs a companion and hopefully this will get him outside more. Boxers are very good with kids and very protective. Well anyways, I’ll report later how everything is going.

He is a great dog, very well behaved and so cute. They have raised him so far just like we would have wanted so this will be an easier transition then we thought.

Sunday was spent recooperating (sp?)  from the night before. We didn’t get home until 5am Sunday morning, yeah we party pretty hard when we do party. But we pay the next day. Ate total crap today, won’t divulge. Tomorrow is a new day and start of a new week. Oh yeah, I lost 1/2 a lb. this week.

Well I’m not going to get into great detail about what I ate and drank this weekend. I’m extremely embarassed and I still don’t feel good because of how I treated my body this weekend.

I started off good, but as Saturday night progressed I found myself drunk and eatting total crap. But as usual was having fun with my friends.

I had an awesome run that I’m actually sore from. I ran outside for once and it’s so much more of a challenge than the treadmill, but I love it so much more. I didn’t stop running once and I cut my time from a usual 45 min (the last time I ran last summer) to 38 min.

You might not know this but I’m badass, just throwing that out there.

I don’t know what is up with me this morning, maybe it’s the Cytolean I took or that my body is just on fire, but man. The past two nights after I’ve eatten dinner and I’m trying to fall asleep my stomach starts growling like I’m starving. I think I might need to start drinking a protein shake before bed. Right now also, I just ate 1/2 bagel w/ pb and drank 1/2 homemade smoothie and my stomach feels all weird. But I love this feeling. So this morning my body really does feel beat from all this hard work this week, you know you’ve done good when at the end of the week you’re just pooped. So today I did get up on time! Well not at 4:30 because my alarm strangely did not go off even though it’s on, but I got up a little after 5 so I had enough time for 20 min of cardio. But I just couldn’t bring myself to run, I’m just so beat. So I decided to do my butt blaster walk. Where I work my way up to incline 10 and speed 4 OMG, once I got up there I could barely breath and my heart felt like it was going to pop right out of my chest! This was harder than sprinting. I just couldn’t believe it, man hills are hard. So now I’ve found something new to conquer and I think I’m going to make this part of my weekly routine. Because if I want to do Multnomah Falls again this summer I better start working on my incline walking. I don’t want to have to stop every 5 min like the first time I walked it, lol. Even though I’ll give myself a break, because before we did M. Falls we hiked Larch Mtn. and I did not workout at the time at all. So anyhoo, tonight will be a nice break and then tomorrow if weather permits I’m gonna take a run outside. I miss it so much.

butt blaster walk:

Woke up late this morning again, I just couldn’t open my eyes. But I worked out at night. Had a good run but not so good weights, I was completely exhausted this time, so no running before arms. Then when I was doing overhead press my traps were cramping so I just gave up and went and ate dinner.

Took more sp250 before I ran and that was great again.

HIIT:

400 cal/ 37.28 min/ 3.003 miles/ max 7

Then I did 2 set of 12 reps with 10lbs of the following before I gave up:

Then I did:

Absolutely could not get up this morning. My eyes were so heavy it was ridiculous. Ended up getting up with enough time to eat some breakfast. So I’ll be doing both weights and cardio tonight. It’s leg day so I look forward to that. I’m still not sure what’s best, doing cardio before legs or lifting legs before cardio. Last time I lifted first and my run was so hard. I might try doing cardio first tonight and then lift but I’m afraid I’ll be out of energy. We’ll see what happens.

m1: cracklin oat bran, skim milk, san T3, L-glutamine, red bull

I just had an absolutely awesome workout. Today I got my Gaspari samples, I got superpump 250 and cytolean. I knew I liked the Cytolean because I’ve used it before but I really wanted to try the sp250. Oh my gawd! This stuff is amazing. Since I didn’t get my cardio in this morning I had to do it tonight and I decided to do it first. Well you’re supposed to take the sp250 30-40 min before you lift so I went ahead and took it before my run. Wow, by the time my run was almost over my quads wanted to pop out of my legs. Then once I caught my breath and calmed down I started my lifting. I’m gonna be feeling my legs tomorrow.

lifting:

I did 3 sets of 12 rep with 10lbs. in a circuit of the following moves, crunches without weight:

I love working out hard. Today I’m sore and moving slow. Yesterday I didn’t really feel like working out when I got home but I told myself just get it over with and then you don’t have to worry about it. I felt so good once I was done. I mean I was exhausted but I knew I didn’t let myself down by just giving up. I want to be able to say at the end of the week that I worked out all week again.

This morning was difficult getting up. It doesn’t seem to matter what time I go to bed now I’m tired no matter what. Last night we went to be around 10. We stayed up trying to figure out how to get blue tooth to work on my hubbies phone to transfer music. We figured out how to transfer pictures but even with a big enough and empty media card it says the music files are too big, very frustrating. So thank god for DVR because we recorded Prison Break and we’ll watch it tonight. Hopefully tonight I can get to bed a little earlier.

Even though I was running late again this morning I still hopped on the treadmill. I just took something quick to eat on the way to work. Even though I didn’t run as long as I was supposed to I’m gonna call it good and rest tonight. Spend some quality time with hubs and relax. Ah, something to look forward to.

HIIT:

248.3 cal/ 20 min/ 1.703 miles/ max 7.2

This was a hard run, I’m glad I only did 20 min, it was very high intervals and lots of incline.

I had kind of a bad night last night and it’s really affecting my mood today. But I plan on using this negative energy tonight in my workout. I actually woke up before I was supposed to get up today but I just couldn’t face the world until I just had to get up to get to work on time. It seems like you get one thing in order in your life and while your trying to make that work something else is unraveling because you are only one person and can only do so much. I’m a very good multi-tasker ususally but lately I’m having a hard time keeping things in order and together. Hopefully I can figure out a way to make things work for me and make my priorities happen.

So I’ll be posting a workout later…
