My new POA is going to be simple. I don’t want to get overwhelmed with intense workouts, I don’t want to get burnt out again. So we’re going to start off simple. I plan on doing more cardio to start and then add more weight training as I get used to training again. I’ve continued to shrink even while not working out alot, my weight is the same, but the jeans I bought that were a size smaller are getting loose, yee haw!
So here’s the POA
Monday-Cardio
Tuesday- upper body/abs
Wednesday-cardio
Thursday- lower body/abs
Friday- cardio
Saturday- cardio
Sunday- off/or a fun bike ride or something
Cardio is what kicks me into high gear, weight training is just supplemental right now. I don’t feel overwhelmed by this at all. My last attempt at a program was a disaster, I set the bar way too high for my lifestyle, I want to be healthy but also enjoy life. I needed to find balance and that last program wasn’t balanced. The diet was crazy and so were the workouts. I don’t plan on competing so there was just not enough determination to work with to get me through that. So now I feel I’ve come up with a normal plan, that works with my life and goals.
