Well I didn’t end up going for my run Saturday, it was raining like crazy, but I actually got dressed to go anways. But as I was trying to leave my hubby asked me to help him with his truck. He’s trying to get it up on ramps and the darn thing won’t start, and he can’t fix it unless he can get it up on ramps and get underneath it. A terrible cycle. So we’re out there in the rain trying to push this huge 72 chevy long bed out of our garage. After several rocking and pushing techniques we finally get the thing out and then we attempt to get a good head start to push it up the ramps. So we just about got it up but didn’t quite make it, the thing is solid steel. So we tried one more time and failed again. So we pushed it back into the garage and gave up for the day. We were drenched and by then I was too tired to go for my run and cold.
But then Sunday came and it wasn’t raining. So I went for a quicker run than usual. I only ran to Holgate instead of Powell like normal. I didn’t do intervals either because I forgot my watch, but at least I got a good run in. Note to self, don’t drink milk before a run because my right side was killing me. I don’t even know how long my run took, but it was good.

Well I’ve decided to take the rest of this week off. I plan to come back strong Saturday with a run and from then on out I have 4 weeks of cutting and a ton of cardio to do. This week has been very odd. My mind is in a weird place and I’m having a hard time getting beyond it so I think I need a break and hopefully I can come back refreshed and engergized. I still plan on eatting well and eatting clean as much as possible. I’m still reading my new book and I’m excited to try some of the recipes. This week though I’ve just been so tired, I don’t know what my deal is. I’m excited to get started again with a new found interest and goal. This transformation I’ve been cycling bulking and cutting every two weeks. At first it really seemed to make a difference but now I’m exhausted. I really need to focus on fat loss right now and that requires cardio. So I have 4 weeks left in this transformation and I plan to make it count. I really notice a difference in the way I feel when I do my cardio. today diet: multi-v - mag m1: special k w/berries, skim milk m2: yogurt

Today was a very quick wo. Unfortunately it takes too much time to do the first leg move, so by the time I’m done I only have a little time left. But I didn’t start as early as I should also.
wo: legs
step ups
3×15 per legx10 per hand
lunges *superset* bb squats
2×20 steps 2×10x33.5
I’ve altered my supplement intake drastically. I found out yesterday that I was taking way too much at once. I shouldn’t have been taking creatine and caffine at the same time, so while I’m on the purple-k I won’t be taking xenadrine. This is all a learning experience for me. Also I won’t be taking the BCAA’s with creatine for now. I’ll take those while I’m not on creatine. I have a lot more reading to do.
diet:
purple-k
m1: oatmeal, splenda (which I want to cut out) and sf jam, 3 strips turkey bacon
wo
purple-k
m2: sliver of cake (I have no idea why)
m3: yogurt, 12 amonds
CLA
m4: tuna salad sandwich and fruit salad from whole foods
l-glutamine
m5: rest of fruit salad, carrots

Today was another very active day. We started the day off with cleaning and then we ended up rearranging our whole living room. I helped lift a TV that last summer I couldn’t even budge, so I know I’m getting much stronger. That was a cool feeling. We also went to Home Depot and got some stuff for the house, it was very productive weekend for us. I’m so proud. Also now that I’m reading my Eat-Clean Diet book, Joe’s getting interested in eatting better, so I’m happy about that.

Today I had an amazing run. I felt more empowered then any other time. I ran my normal 3 miles but this time I ran intervals. Since this was my first time I started with 5 mins of jogging and 2 minutes hard running and back and forth. My total run was 42 min. I ended up running about 5-6 2 min intervals. I want to try and increase those to 3 min and then up so that I’m running harder longer and taking shorter jogging breaks. So it will be 5 min hard intervals and 2 min jogging. All in all it was a great day. We also ended up doing a lot of yard work so I was very active all day long.
