I’m doomed

Seriously, no matter what I try or do I can’t loose a pound. I religiously work out 5 days a week sometimes 6 and eat clean 70% of the time.

I’m sore all of the time and my clothes is still snug. I feel like a oompa loompa. Very discouraged.

Hell my fee even hurt from running it’s crazy. Thanks for letting me vent, I’m off to the gym for legs the 2nd time this week.

:(

You’re NOT doomed, but you won’t like the answer. Some of us poor souls have to go stricter than others on diet, in order to cut BF (I’m one too……hand raised). Diet, diet, diet is just about always where the answer lies. And 70% of the time is not really maintaining a real clean diet. The answer is NOT to kill yourself with the workouts & marathon cardio sessions. Ramp up the diet to 90% clean (or more). That should take you home.

    GOOD LUCK!

I read this quote somewhere…"Never give up on your dreams…You have control of whatever you want, take it it’s yours.."
You’re not doomed, just keep at it, good things coming your way, good to see you’re off to the gym to do legs. One more set of patience before you leave, you are in this for the long haul. Don’t get discouraged.

PS: I know the above sucks to hear. I’m one who has to be crazy disciplined on a clean diet to get the definition I want. Oh well, nothing for it, but to suck it up if the goal is important enough. :D

Thank you, I’ll tweek the diet and try that. UGH it’s very discouraging.

i agree…if diet is 90 percent of this, I would say that you need to get better in this area. One cheat meal a week and maybe take your cardio down to walking and see what happens

oompa loompa..LMAO. I haven’t heard that one before. And sorry for laughing, but that was out of left field. I do know how you feel, oh so how I know. But ditto with what Al has said above. I know it is diet, diet, diet, and exercise (cardio). So re-evaluate that. I know I need tweaking on my diet, I just don’t know what or how as all of it confuses the sh!t out of me. So just take a moment to think about it, bust out a little time in the gym, eat cleaner and you will feel better.

it looks like maybe it could be the diet?? I know that when i plateau, thats usually the reason(not the training)

    best of luck, we understand
    :)

  8. ShanBL Says:

I would say you have the answer in the 70%. It won’t take much to tighten your diet and lose that last pound. Don’t feel so discouraged :) You’re right at the border, ready to cross over that plateau.

  9. WaynesWorld Says:

Sometimes our body fights that one last pound until we basically beat it into submission. So try some of the things mentioned above and i think you will be OK

  10. FlexinMike Says:

It is 80% diet and 20% training. If your putting in the 20% training then it does come down to your diet. If you reallyw ant to get where you want you need to eat clean 100% of the time. Substitute water for your beverages :)

Diet it is.. I’m on a mission.

Will report back in a couple of weeks. Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Always appreciated.

    :)
