Ok so hear is my deal. I eat pretty clean the majority of the time. I eat throughout the day with the small meals, mostly protein.
However I go to the gym right after work and don’t get home until around 8 and I think that is to late to eat any kind of food without packing the calories therefore I slam a protein drink.
I have mixed feeling as far as proper nutrients after such a grouling work out.
ANY THOUGHTS?

What time do you go to sleep? They say that most people should not eat 3 hours before bed….BUT since a majority of us workout in here I can say this. The bodies RMR(resting metabolic rate) will keep going even while we sleep. Soooooo you should be able to consume food or a shake at 8. I do the same thing and see no adverse side effects. Hope that helps!!
