So i got hired as a trainer at Equinox Fitness West Hollywood in october. Its been going pretty well…pretty much the best job i could ask for considering I just moved out here to hollywood. I still need to pick up a few more clients though.
In regards to the training, its been going great. In november and december i was cutting up and at the same time was getting my bench back up where it used to be. I got down to about 205. Then i went back home to cleveland for 2 weeks and gained 5 lbs back. Now I am bulking up for about a month, and will probably start cutting out in mid feb. Im trying to get a new bench record…going for 225 for 13 reps.
When i was cutting up I was hitting 3 full-body workouts a week with cardio inbetween. Im back to back/bi’s , chest/tris, shoulders/legs 5x a week. so far so good.

Well i got up to 220lbs….with the help of 2 big glasses of water before the weigh-in lol. Ive been training extreemly hard the last few months, and have maid some pretty good gains. Ive been training every bodypart seperately (except bi’s and tri’s).
I just moved to north hollywood, CA 2 weeks ago and joined LA fitness. Its a really nice gym, WAY BETTER THAN 24 hour fitness i might add.
So im focusing on cutting up a bit now. Ive switched to back/bi’s, chest/tri’s, legs, and finally shoulders. I do abs 2-3 times a week too.
Ive allready lost like 6 lbs, due to my diet, not eating near as much….cant afford to lol.
So thats that. Im looking for a personal trainer job at the moment…let me know if you can help me!

I had the best workout week ever! I hit every body part so hard that at one point of the week, every muscle group was sore! Thats never happened before. It was Intense. Im still having troube gaining weight though, i guess i need to just keep eating more, although my parents are complaining about all the money they are spending on food haha.

Today was probably the best shoulder workout i have ever had. I came in the gym with a very positive attitude and was very fired up. I put on my headphones which i havent used in a while and dominated my delts!
Heres what I did:
-SMith machine front press x5
-Side lateral raises (machine) superset with rear dumbbell lateral raises x3
-Front dumbbell raises superset with machine front press x3
-Kettlebell squat side raise superset with cable pully side raise x3
-Then some intense abs
Well that was it….probably overtrained, but it felt darn good, and im sure i’ll feel it tomorrow!

I had a great bicep workout yesterday….although with the sucky equipment at my school, it seems nearly impossible to get a good back workout there compared to my home gym. Well regardless, my arms were really pumped. I ran 4 times this week! Im still not seeing too great results from my cardio and good eating habits, hopefully by the next 2 weeks i will. Beautiful day today, 65*….classes, workout, maybe fishing!

After starting intramural soccer i have not been able to train my legs…it just hurts too much! I have pain in my knees, especially from my tight hamstrings, from playing soccer on the hard indoor floors. I figure its just not worth taking higher risk of an injury. Ill just have to start training legs once soccer is over, 2 more weeks. Other than that training is going pretty well. Ive been kinda on and off of kre-alkaline (creatine product). I haven’t noticed and huge gains, but now since im off it im hoping i might get some gains. We’ll see what happens. Alright i need to go train shoulders. and may God be with those who have lost family and/or friends from Virginia tech!

ive been keeping up with my running pretty well, only missed one day in the last 3 weeks. I have noticed i have been really tired in the evenings around 6 ish. I dont know what it is, maybe the smaller food intake and the running. Whatever it is i hope it doesn’t get worse. I think my leg training is going to be postponed or lessened in the next 3 weeks because of intramural soccer…its just too hard on my legs. well thats all i guess

So I kinda started a new program 2 weeks ago. Lifting 4/5 days a week, with cardio and abs 3 days a week…on monday, wednesday, and friday. This is really the the first time i have incorporated cardio in my lifting program, and im pretty excited to see how it goes. I really want to run in the morning before breakfast, but the soonest i can (or should i say "will") get in there is 11am. Many times i have said i will get that 6 pack, but i know i can do it this time! Wish me luck
