Sending you a big hug! Here's how I feel: You want it, then have it, enjoy it, and move on. Don't beat yourself up about it. And if you really didn't want it? Well then you've just recognized a habit you're going to change. Go to the gym and kick ass!

Hey girlie ... I hope you're doing better today. I just read your blog and thought I'd drop a line just to let you know that I've been fighting the blues (and losing BIG TIME) this week also ... it's been really hard to want to do anything other than hide under the covers ... maybe you could try taking out that emotion on the gym equipment. Honestly, there have been days that I'm killing the elliptical, fighting back tears. People at the gym must think I'm nuts ... but I do feel slightly better afterward. Don't beat yourself up if you need some comfort food ... sometimes it helps. Don't let one binge set you off course ... I'm good for doing that ... saying "well i screwed this part up, so to hell with it" ... that doesn't help ... just pick yourself up and get back on the horse. All we can do is the best we can do, right???

We are women... hear us ROAR!!! :-) I think most of us feel like reaching for the very things we know we shouldn't have when we are having a bad day (that's why the call it comfort food!). And you know what... so what?! I mean really, as long as you don't do it every day, or all the time, I think it can be good for you. I give myself a "free meal" each week to eat what I want and to have a glass of wine or a good beer. And I think it helps me stay on track better. Don't beat yourself up about it. And going to the gym even when your hubby doesn't go with you just means you will in better shape than him :-).
