On the days I don’t have cottage cheese oatmeal, I have my eggbeaters or eggwhites oatmeal.
Polinutrigirl’s Eggbeaters Oatmeal
1/2 cup Quaker rolled oats
1/2 cup frozen blueberries or strawberries (any frozen berries will do)
2 tablespoons of flaxseed
3/4 cup plain eggbeaters or liquid egg whites.
Put the eggbeaters in a glass container and microwave for about 2:15 minutes. They should be puffy when done but not overly dry.
Put oatmeal, flaxseed and frozen fruit in bowl, cover with water, and microwave for 2:30 minutes. Add more water if necessary.
Stir cooked eggbeaters into oatmeal and microwave again until desired hotness.
Here are the macros:
Calories: 345
Fat: 8 (1 saturated)
Carbohydrates: 46
Fiber: 11
Protein: 27.
I have this with 30 grams of whey protein powder and 1 tablet each of fish oil and flaxseed oil.
If I add 1/2 a banana to the oatmeal, the macros are as follows:
Calories: 407
Fat: 8 (1 saturated)
Carbohydrates: 62
Fiber: 12
Protein: 27
Tastes delicious! Give it a try!

I’m a morning person, and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I always have oats, one of the healthiest foods in existence. I make sure to have a filling, healthy and tasty breakfast each morning to fuel my day, whether I am working out afterwards or after a long day at work. Here is what I eat for breakfast each morning:
Polinutrigirl’s Cottage Cheese Oatmeal
1/2 cup rolled oats (I use Quaker) *
1/2 cup 1% or 2% cottage cheese
1/2 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries (you can use any frozen berries) and
2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds.
Put the oatmeal, flaxseed and frozen berries in a bowl with water covering the ingredients and microwave for about 2:30 minutes. Take out and add a little water if necessary. Stir in the cottage cheese and microwave again until warm.
Here is the breakdown, from fitday.com
