Tired of being Tired!
Well, what can I say other than the fact that I still have about 4.5 weeks to go and am TIRED as HECK! Taking fat burners, drinking coffee out the kazoo, and eating regularly and I am still TIRED! I never realized how many carbs a day I must have been eating to maintain a "non-tired" state of being. If I go to long, I do not feel like working out. I woke up at 6:45 AM, but did not go to the gym yet….I cooked hard boiled eggs all day, chicken, tilapia and turkey. I feel like all I do is COOK, train, eat, sleep, work, and do computer stuff. Even the computer makes me tired. LOL I LOVE training, but I DREAD hitting up the cardio area for 1.5 to 2 hours a day! I naturally HATE cardio and for 2 hours a day…..holy smokes I am dying….and then SUPER HUNGRY afterwards! I am working on video number 2 and article number 2 as well.
Talk to you later…..if you have any anti-tired suggestions I would LOVE to hear from you! XOXO Tamar

At least you look awesome!!! And, 4.5 weeks will be over before ya know it… hopefully!
That sucks about the cardio… I thought 40 min was bad.. LOL! I hate it too.
Hey, how many times a day do you take caffiene/coffee? Just wondering b/c I’m currently cutting and have only been doing 2x a day, but was thinking of bumpin it to 3x a day in time…

Probably you already do this, but 15 minute power naps work miracles for that tired feeling! And as far as boredom / tired / lackluster cardio….I offer….PLAY VIDEO GAMES while riding the recumbant bike. Sounds goofy, but my kids got me started and seriously, I could sit and play for hours while peddaling away now. I utilize the PS 2 at the homestead and a Play Station Portable (PSP) when on the road. The graphics and myriad of available games, makes it something that might potentially be the magic you are looking for.

Tamar, Thank you so much for your kind comment on my profile. You totally made my day! Secondly, you are absolutely beautiful. It is women like you that inspire me to fight the good fight and get to the gym for my double cardio daily. So many naysayers on the cardio out there. What kind of cardio do you do most often? I hope you keep your blog up and regular! Would love to hear more about your training, diet, and what inspired you. Thanks again for your kindness and positive energy.

OK, I don’t know how you do the 2 hour deal..I went NUTS on that thing..mentally, not physically. I have to hunt down some new ipod music because i will go crazy if I hear the same songs again! lolol..and I have to bring an extra water bottle tomorrow..and keep the pace lower..make sure I don’t burn muscle. And you are just tired. OMG even responding to comments is work huh lol..I am good first thing in the morning with the coffee then it goes downhill from therelol..Hang in there, because it is worth it!! woohoo:)

Good morning Tamar!
You look FAB
. That knowledge alone may sometimes be enough to give you at least enough energy to keep working out. When it’s not:
Check your water intake. Remeber to get at least 1/2 gallon for every 100 grams of protein you take in. I’m sure you already know this, but sometimes we forget throughout the day and just don’t get enough. (fat-burners and caffeine products increase the need for even more water.) Dehydration is the fastest energy zapper I know of!
I hope this helps, and good luck!

Carb exclusion can be torturous and in fact, not all that beneficial. Complex carbs will not have a bloating effect unless you overload on them. Dig in to the carbs would be my advice, you really won’t gain any unwanted weight. Plus you’ll be in a better mood when it comes time to train.
Your getting the right amount of protein, but the stress of digesting it on a low-cal diet may have your body feeling zapped at times when you feel you should actually have excess energy. Alot of gyms stock top of the line energy drinks. Those things are the real deal. If you have the opportunity, chug one of those when you first arrive at the gym they really prime the body for strenoous training no matter how sluggish you’re feeling.
