February update
Hola, lovers! Sorry it’s been forever since the last update - it seems like not so much has been going on, and a whole lotta things have been going on! Work has been insanely busy with a heavy recruitment season, but I’m still managing to get in my morning workouts… I’m sure I’d be even more stressed without it!
I’ve slacked off on the weights department (bad, pixi, bad!) in favor of running more (usually an 60-80 minutes 3-4 weekdays a week (if I don’t run the full hour, I make up for it in biking), with a 10 or 12-miler on Saturdays). I’m still on a 3-day rotation (back/bi/abs, chest/tri/delts, legs), but I’ve spaced it out to only once a week rather than every three days. I’m getting slightly faster with running, though, and starting to wonder if I really *can* get to 2 hours for my next half-marathon despite it being WAY hillier than the January course… we’ll see! Shoot for the moon and if ever you’ll land on the stars, right?
Oh! But I tried CrossFit because this guy convinced me to go. We both threw up LOL Stormi, I SO bow down to you for doing CF all the time! I think the hardest part was dong a sprint, then dropping down to do push-ups… it sucked, yo, and made me realize what a complete wimp I am since when I tried CF stuff on my own, I was apparently going "mosey" speed!
Dating has been an amazing adventure and I’m enjoying it! I haven’t really drank at all and kept my diet somewhat clean, though I do give in to my sweet tooth every now and then. But I went on a fun shopping spree and still the same size as I used to be, so yay!
Anyway, I hope you all are doing amazing - definitely sounds like it with all your updates, despite the nasty cold/flu stuff going around! Take great care for yourself and train hard like always, my beautiful friends!!
xo

Good to see that you’ve maintained a good exercise routine, and are still hitting the weights 3X per week. It’s also great that you’ve developed good eatin and drinking habits so that you can be the star in the dating galaxy. When is your April 1/2 marathon? I’ve got a flat one on 4/11 and a hilly one 4/18. Keep moving forwards and enjoying your journey.

Yeah, I’ve come to realize the same thing. I’m no where as hard cord as Stormi is. If we were to train side by side I’m guessing it would look like the tortoise and the hair…..I would be the tortoise……..stuck on it’s back………waiting to become turtle soup.
