After my weekend of atrocities - I am back at it, and I am feeling better than ever! I just had my breaky - a bowl of plain oats with 1/2 cups raspberries, 2 cups of water, and a small tea with skim milk and vanilla syrup (I need something sweet), and it was so f’n good! My week is insane, so I may not be able to get to the gym that much this week, but I am doing little things like taking the 12 flights of stairs at work, and really focusing on cleaning up my eating. I have become nice and used to my supplements, and am having no ill side effects.
Supplements today (so far): Lipo-6 = 2, Ultra Mega Multis = 2, CLA = 2, Thyroid Energy = 2

So, okay - last week was coming along quite nicely, until Friday hit - I was in bed all day with a killer migraine, needless to say, I didn’t take any supplements or work out. When I got up, I was ravenously hungry for junk food, and thus continued all weekend. I had 6 (unhealthy) meals out in 3 days, then went on a drinking fest. Yikes!!
The other thing I did this weekend was go to a casting call for a weight-loss show. They said that call backs will be on March 17-18, and to not attempt to lose any weight before then. I had a lot of tough competition, so I don’t think I will make it - but for the little spark in me that thinks I might, it seems to be halting me from making any healthy choice.
WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!

I can’t wait for the weekend! It has been long for a short week, and I am excited to spend some more time in the gym this weekend than I have in the evenings this week. I am also meeting with a buddy of mine who is a bodybuilder - he is just in amazing shape right now! He is very motivating! I need it today - I am feeling a little junky this morning, crampy and tired, yuck, lol. I did manage to take the stairs at work again today though, elevators were working fine, but I think it’s a good wake up for my body if I keep taking them.
Breaky today: 1 tall tea with skim milk and vanilla syrup, whole wheat english muffin with 1 piece of cheese, 2 cups water
Supplements: Lipo-6 = 2, Ultra Mega Multis = 2, CLA = 2, Thyroid Energy = 2

Lol, finished up the hamburger soup for supper - now it is all gone for good!!
Supplements:
Lipo-6 = 4
Ultra Mega Multis = 2

Thyroid Energy = 4

I have worked with a trainer on and off for 1 year - I have also just kind of done as I was told, but I’m now branching out to get in shape on my own. I would really love it if someone could send me some effective diet and workout information.
Here’s a little about where I’m starting:
Height: 5′2", Weight: 135lbs, I am in good health, however I get some inflammation in my left knee after a long workout.
Thanks!

Boy, will I be glad when it’s all gone! It’s soooooo good - the most comforting comfort food ever!! We tried to make it really healthy this time - cut out the white pasta, replaced it with Barley, used extra-lean ground sirloin instead of regular ground pork (yuck on the pork), cut the potatoes in 1/2 half, reduced sodium stock and tons more veggies - but seriously, I can’t stop eating it! Supper last night, lunch today - surely I will have it for supper tonight….but then, it will be all gone! lol.
And I will finally be back at the gym tonight - cardio and hopefully a moderate weight workout too. Any ideas for a new program??? as well as how much cardio??

Wow, it’s definitely Wednesday - it took me an hour to get out of bed, yuck. Then the elevators at work were broken, so I had to take the stairs (it’s 6 floors), so I think someone is giving me a subtle hint to make sure that I get to the gym today, lol. Now that I have had my tea and some breakfast I am feeling like a new woman compared to when I got up.
I managed to pack my lunch today - which in itself is an amazing feat! (for me)
I am wondering if anyone has a good training program including a cardio schedule that they could share with me?? I am not too new to working out, and I would like to push myself. Thanks!
Breaky:
2 cups water
1 cup Strawberry All-bran squares, dry
1 tall tea with skim mik and vanilla syrup
Supplements so far today:
Lipo-6 = 2
Ultra Mega Multis = 2
CLA = 2
Thyroid Energy = 2

Mmm…just had the best soup ever! It sounds kind of trailer park, but hello comfort food!! I had hamburger soup for supper, and seriously if anyone is depriving themselves of burgers and fries and freaking out - this is one damn fine substition! we used extra lean ground beef, reduced sodium beef stock, reduced sodium tomato soup, diced tomatoes, diced potatoes, barley, carrots and celery - mixed in a few spices and serve with a bit of grated cheese on top - and wowsers!!!!!!!!! Lol - okay maybe I shouldn’t get so excited about soup, but it was super good
So to end my day, I had a bowl of this fine soup with a diet root beer. I’ve got to get a few cups of water in me now, maybe a sugar free creamsicle and settle in to watch Hell’s Kitchen
Cardio tomorrow, right after work!!

Well, I managed to get through going out for lunch today - I didn’t quite have time to finish putting my lunch together last night. I went to a place down the street called ‘Choices’, and had an awesome whole wheat wrap, LOADED with fresh veggies, a piece of reduced fat cheddar cheese, mustard and some guacamole - it was super tasty (and mega cheap), so I’m thinking that it may be one of my safest bets for a workday lunch.
My day so far:
1 tea with skim milk and vanilla syrup
1 cup Strawberry All-Bran Squares, dry
3 cups water
1 small container Cardivia fat-free yogurt - mango-peach
2 cups water
Veggie Wrap
1 can diet Pepsi
Supplements today:
Lipo-6 = 4
Ultra Mega Multis = 2
CLA = 2
Thyroid Energy = 4
I’m finding that getting my supplements out of the way before 2pm lets me sleep WAY better.

So I am officially registered for my 2nd Weekend to End Breast Cancer! It’s a 60km walk over 2 days to help fund research and find a cure for Breast Cancer. Last year was HARD, it took everything I had in me to finish - I cannot believe how many ladies that were undergoing treatment were still walking. 30 degrees C outside, walking through the scorching sun - but once I crossed the finish line on the 2nd day, I cried like a baby. The overwhelming sense of accomplishment and community, (and probably sun stroke too) was soooo intense and amazing. Between my best friend and I, we raised $5,000.00 - I am hoping to beat that this year!
I was wondering if anyone has any training tips for long distance walking????
