The Return
Well, I’ve returned to Iraq, this time to BIAP, Camp Victory section with some commo unit, and not to one of those godforsaken outlying post that get hit with mortars all the time. But I hate having to see so many officers from different services, and we’re all coddled up here. Unlike most there’s not a lot to do, but I do try to hit the gym in the mornining despite the fact that it’s crowded M-F. I was getting up at 4:30 in the morning, but I’m going to push for 4:15, because of a little laziness on my part, and to squeeze a little mor time in for a little cardio and abs. It’s not bad here, at least not for me.

Interesting. Would like to hear more about things there.

I’ve noticed my gym starting to get more crowded lately as well. Probably just people trying to fill their New Years resolutions. Give it a few weeks and some of the people will probably stop working out. Mine’s normally not too bad, usually 4 or 5 using weights and machines and 4 or 5 doing cardio work. I usually workout right around 0800. I’ve found most people have to report to work at this time so it’s the least crowded time aside from 0-dark hundred.

I’d like to hear more things about what’s going on over there too…
