So I’m on Day 2 of my super-eat-clean diet and this is hard! I don’t know how you competition girls can stick to this insane diet for 12+ weeks, but I am determined to get through the next 2 weeks at least. It’s time to learn what I’m really made of! I love a challenge, it helps me grow.
Today was leg day and I did a pretty good workout considering my left knee was bothering me. I focused on glutes and hams mostly, and I skipped my cardio because I got up late this morning. I’ll make up for it tomorrow.
I’m already noticing some water weight and bloating disappear, but oh man, I would love a warm piece of toast with peanut butter and jelly on top right now. Mmmmm.

Good luck with it. It does sound like a challenge. But you got to stop thinking of the toasted pbj! (damn, just got hungry) lol

awwww, I feel your pain, but you apparently are a stonger woman than I. I can’t stick to a clean diet to save my life past 2 days…I saw your blog and came by to wish you the very best of luck! You can do it!!! You look great already though!

Try no bread or sugar for 60 days and only being on day 3 LOL. That’s my plan right now.

I’m on a similar mission to eat clean……"clean eats & few cheats ——don’t be a pansy" is my motto this month (see blog). I STILL say you can’t possibly have far to go.
Try just PB on bread, no jelly. Or PB with a banana, apple, etc. (I like Smuckers Natural PB since there are NO added sugars, cane juice, etc.) I love PB.

Two things to add here:
-After the second week, diets are much easier to stick to.
-The no-guilt factor that diets bring to the table, is highly underrated….

blessed are the clean eaters for they will inherit the something or other - Mattew 6 or 7, maybe 8, the Sermon on the Mount.

i agree with bodyauditor…doing it is a big part of the reward and you have to beat yourself less when you actually follow thru.

It’s not that hard after a while, and will get a lot easier. Pretty soon it’s something you do because you have to and it’s time, not necessarily because you’re bored watching tv or talking with friends on the phone.
With all the things you’ve been through, you’ll do fine. (But I did just have a pb&j!!!)
