I am now 15 pounds heavier than 5/9/08, when I started to get serious for competition. My body fat is around 10%. At my current weight of 217, I now think I can get in the 220’s, at the same bodyfat. I didn’t know how my body would react at 48, but it is better results than I imagined. I recently went to the Excalibur and Border States, I know I have a legitmate shot to win the master’s and place in the open. I will continue to add size, and think about competing in The Tournament of Champions.

The above picture was taken when I won the Palm Springs at 31, since then My hams and calves have came up. At 48, I decided to go in a master’s show. I talk to my trainer and we will be working on size. Back to the basics, benches, squats, deadlifts, standing curls, dips, military presses. I will post progress pictures in 6-8 weeks, conditioning will not be a problem, because I plan to keep my BF at 10-12% in the off season.

I am now 198lbs., that is a 10 pound weight loss since 5/9/08. I am leaner than I been in a couple of years(definitely not the body of a 48 year old.) My goals now is to pack a little muscle size, this will be done with strict nutrition.

BF has drop alot, starting to pack on muscle, although I got a stomach virus over the weekend, I am feeling better. I don’t believe in posting pictures everyday, will post some in 1-2 months, hopefully with a tan, the results will be dramatic.
