I’m One of THOSE Girls
Thursday, September 25th, 2008hmmm, you know the ones. they equate dieting with hunger and losing weight with whatever’s on the scale. my trainer is AMAZING…i still heart her though she makes me sweat. shout out, ava!
anyway, my diet….i mean my new eating plan has been going better for the past 3 weeks or so. other than a night of margaritas, another night of faux-hitos (they really don’t taste like mojitos but they are sugar free), and an unfortunate incident with a bag of pita chips (never go to the grocery store on an empty stomach if you’re a point of purchase person…you know, you see it while you’re waiting in line at the register and think….mmmmm, sounds delicious).
i’ve lost 10 lbs since i started working out with ava 3 days/week and doing cardio again (after my knee issues, i was basically on bedrest for about a month). i have one of those body fat readers like they use at the gym and it seems strangely inaccurate. maybe i should get my b/f done with calipers (sp?) or some other way because this thing says 44 one day and 39 the next….even with new batteries. both numbers are amazingly high, but then i am short and i’m carrying a lot of extra lbs.
does anyone else have scale issues? i need to focus more on inches and body fat lost.
