Happy New Year!

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

ok, i fell short of my weight loss goal for the year…and fell off the diet wagon during the holidays. i am already back on track with my diet, BUT here’s what i need/want for now:

1- to find a good orthopaedist (my knee went out again while i was just standing still brushing my teeth….well, maybe i was moving a little)

2 - some tips on how to train around the knee issue (and a fractured foot and 2 broken toes….don’t ask, it was a crazy freak household accident that involved me and my dog - he was not hurt but i did scare the crap out of him…well, not literally). quick q…can i cycle without putting pressure on my foot or messing up my knee? i know the treadmill is not an option b/c it still hurts to walk and the stairmaster is rather hard on the knees….i will try the elliptical after my follow up appointment. i need to increase my cardio caz i don’t think i will lose any lbs doing weight training only

3 - to stop stressing out so much and start bikram yoga again once or twice a week

4 - stop weighing myself every day and concentrate on decreasing my body fat

5 - to have a wonderfully happy 2008
