Two Steps Forward
Saturday, December 15th, 2007…onestep back.
ok, i have a bad knee from an old injury. it creaks like an antique door but normally rarely bothers me. on wednesday night, it popped and kinda shifted when i was going up the stairs. no worries, i thought. i had already worked out at lunch (pilates - i added this to my 3 day/week weight training), but i still had to do cardio. it didn’t really hurt, but i did limp out to my car. when i got out of the car, it seemed fine so i hopped on the treadmill….and the next morning, there was total knee chaos. shooting pain, inability to put weight on my knee, blah blah blah.
here’s my question. i know i have to rest, heat and compress til my knee feels better, BUT will should i continue the supplements i’m taking (i just added creatine on monday)? i also take a fatburner and cla.
