wrist straps
Tuesday, November 13th, 2007Well I’ve got to the point now where I can’t rely on my grip on deads and bent over rows. So I went and bought some wrist straps. Definetly helps you get those few extra reps on your heavy sets. And at 4.88 for the pair its a no brainer.
270lbs used to slip out by the second and third rep from the sweaty hand syndrome, but not any more. Cracked out my 10 @ 180lbs then 6 @ 230lb, 4 @ 270lbs, 2 @ 290. Then after staring at my training log seeing that im only 10 off 300lbs I went for it and cracked out 1 solid lift and a half lift then I took a few breaths went again and got it about half the last rep. I am sure if I had someone yelling at me I would have got it a second time but F it I will get it next week …..
