Workout tracker

October 19, 2009

Started using the workout tracker! it is awesome, now I will have saved data on my workouts instead of going back and thumbing through all my workout books. I am in week 5 of the strength program and feeling awesome gains gained 6 pounds since the second and will update my stats and measure ments in November.

Creatine products

October 18, 2009

I am almost out of my Monohydrate and am looking for another creatine to take. Any one have any suggestions? I have used Muscletech before and will never use it again …. taste like ass and I didnt notice any better gains then when I use straight creatine. Thuought about hitting up some Gaspari but I dont want to waste that much money on something thats hardly better then straight creatine or risk it tasting like donkey ass like Muscletech. I have also been thinking Con-Crete because I heard much more of it gets in instead of being pissed away. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Weight

Killed it at the gym today! I usauly weigh in before I work out, I work out at 6:00 am all week but today is a saturday and I weighed my self after I worked out and I came in 6 pounds heavier! I was so stoked I was smiling like a kid on Xmas walking away form the scale. It might also have to do with the fact I have added some more carbs to my diet and I havent weighed my self since october 2nd. But still boo ya good job Peddle! I iwll continue to track my morning weight as that is how I have tracked it all along and they say to always do it at the same time.

Great day

What an awesome workout. The best I had in 2009! I love throwing the plates on the bar and grinding out rep after rep. what a freakin feeling. I hope I kill the weights like I did today for the rest of 2009 and beyond!! Squats where the pinacle today I LOVE STRENGTH TRAINING! I am going to be a freak of nature!

Creatine mono

Well after trying muscle-tec and various other creatine products I have decided to try what the power lifters at my gym have been urging me to try all along…… Creatine monohydrate. And what do you know the strongest guys in the gym where right. With the other products I didnt feel the strength surge ( not that its a huge one to begin with) or see much in the way of results. I actualy gained more when I was off those expensive ass, hyped up products.

Another bonus about mixing thes my self I control the dosage and dont have to worry about drinking some insulin infested concoction that taste like I killed the Kool Aid man and drank his blood. I just chuck it in my protein shake pre workout and in my gatorade after my workout after I down my double protein post-shake. I am weighing in at 210 currently, I know I havent up dated my profile for a while but I am getting married in two months and between work, gym, school, eating and preparing to eat I barely have enough time to scratch my ass. Ok I am not that busy but I will post my results of this creatine compared to the muscle-tec in strength gains, weight and muscle size when I get some free time and am done this tub of powder. I am hoping by the end of this year I will be around 240. Shouldnt be to hard I am 6 foot 3 and have gained 35 lbs in the past year.  I wont be ripped but I wont have a big old gut either. Good luck to who ever reads this with your goals, and hopefully you can send some my way.

Back at it

April 23, 2008

Ok school is over so now I am back to working normal shifts again. Structure. Thats what I have been waiting for for the past 2 months. I did well untill I took a break then I just couldnt get back in to the routine of eating 5000 calories a day and going to the gym 5-6 days a week. I guess the break was good though I still weigh around 210 and I got straight A’s in school so it was a good trade. I dont care if I lost to months of bulking, it just gives me more motivation to go heavy. Another bonus about starting my bulking up again is it is beauty weather here in ontario and that means BBQ time….. Lots o’ meat all the time. mmmmmmmm steaks mmmmmmm …….. gotta go.

Nitric Oxide

Just wondering what every ones opinions on NO is. I have been researching it and apparently its great as a stimulant and sucking more nutrients in to your muscles. But I am not big on stims, I dont even drink coffee.

Should I spend the money to try it or screw it jsut keep taking my creatine and thats it? opinions are greatly apreciated.

Started up a cycle of creatine after my workout today. I was going to wait untill after the holidays because its always tough sticking to your diet this time of year. fo r instance, my girl made a crap load of cookies and I mean like 8 hours of baking, for a bake sale thing at work and for presents for some friends and family. I must have had at least 8 cookies every day for the past 2 weeks while my eggs cooked every morning. and a bunch more when im studying or on the couch late at night. Good news is I killed the plate that was sitting out and I told the wife not to break any more out because I have no self control. hahah.

 Any way back to the creatine, I was going to buy some cell mass but was really disappointed when I saw the price. Here in Ontario it’s 79 dollars for a jug. The last creatine I took was cell tech hardcore, and it was shit, I did notice a diffrence I got a little bigger but it disappeared when the bottle did. So I ended up just getting good old creatine monohydrate GNC brand. GNC never lets me down, I used this creatine the first time I tried it and IT was great and the muscle stayed. Also I  didnt have to drink the equivalent of 1 1/2 cans of pop in sugar every time I slammed it back.

Well hopefully it does the trick again. Oh yea another reason I grabbed it was because they had a 2 4 1 deal going on if you have the member card. so basicaly I have twice the creatine for a third of the price then I would have if I bought the cell mass. Gotta say I was itching to try cellmass, maybe I’ll order it from the states if this stuff doesnt put out. via bb.com of course.

On top of changing my workout and supping with creatine I am slowing down all my reps and doing some one armed excercises so I can cheat on my last set easier.

Ok time to study(final in the morning). Lift heavy and grow HUGE.

mixing it up

I took last week off because i was so friggin busy with school. i wasnt getting enough sleep to have enough recovery from the work outs. but i only screwed my diet twice by eating less then my 3000-4000 calories.

but hey I got through it and since my body had the rest I decided to switch up my training and do 2 body parts a day 4 times a week, instead of my one a day (except arms) 5 days a week. Putting this together I pretty much ripped it out of one of my MF issues and changed just alittle to keep some of my favs like deadlifts.

So now Im doing mon-chest and tris, tues-legs and calves, wed off, thurs- back and bi’s and fri- shoulders and traps. Im going to post the changes to my workout on my page soon. Also Im going to post my new body stats this weekend since it is the begining of the month even though i made more strength gains then size gains last month im pretty sure. I dont know the tape will tell me I guess.

Oh yes and with this workout I am also slowing down my reps to at least 2 sec neg and 2 sec positve. The past 2 months I’ve been doing more explosive movements and lower reps but this sucker is more of one warm up and then 5 sets of 8 for some and 10 for others.

I tell you though my chest is torn from the switch in the routine. Not sure if it was slowing it down or just the change in exercises.

Alright bed time 2 finals tommorow.
