diet is going perfectly, of course. following a modified timed carb diet written by the guys at redpoint fitness. if you want to see a free version of this google ‘ironaddict TCD’ or just hit up www.ironaddicts.com and get reading
i’ve also changed my routine from rippetoes to a pure strength powerbuilding routine.
—————–
today’s workout:
Deadlift - 5 x 198, 209, 220 (PR)
Front Squat - 10 x 66, 66, 66 (first time FSing my life just getting down the form)
Chins - did 12 singles and some negatives because I am horribly ****ty at chins.
BB Curls - 8 x 45, 55, 55
DB Calf Raise - 15 x 15s, 15s, 15s
——————-
and that’s one of the two lower body workouts. it’s pretty low volume and imo a lot of the guys who suck rippetoes cawk would do a lot better on it. in fact they’d be a lot better ditching this site ahahaha…..but that’s a different issue. i’m still gonna keep up my log here even though i’m keeping an insanely detailed one at redpoint.
woooooo! KEEP LIFTING, PERSEVERANCE

i know i wrote before that i’d finished my diet but honestly……….when it comes down to it i have no idea how to write a ****ing diet. ahaha
and also, i’m becoming disillusioned with bb.com forums and the stacks of ****ty 130lb noobs handing out information like they’re charles glass. SO i’ve been reading ironaddict.com forums a lot, which is great because they don’t even allow noobs to post (Y) woo!
i was even considering signing up with ironaddict for personal training when i heard about their redpoint thing and i was like ‘**** it…..i’ll do it’
so yeah, it’s cheap too. going to sign up tomorrow.

woooooow here i am. 6 days out from my diet. i completely finished my diet today after tweaking it and consulting with a few people.
the diet i’m following is a modified version of layne norton’s contest prep diet. low carb but definitely not ketogenic.
1835 cals a day
220g protein
55g fat
115g carbs
i’m mainly eating chicken, lean steak and whey shakes for protein and oats, rice and salad for carbs.
should be goooood. the only thing i’m worried about is fat loss stalling and having too much of an initial jump down in calories. but i’m not sure how much i’ve really been eating….could be anywhere between 2000 and 3000 cals.

today i woke up and my motivation is feeling ****ed up and weird
like i no longer want to be massive.
**** THAT. FULL STEAM AHEAD.
my theory is that once your life is comfortable and dandy….you sink into a rut and you’re like ‘why even bother?’
which is retarded in my mind.
anyways, lifting and eating hard.

FIRST THANG IN THE MORNANGGGG
i’m pretty sure that will be the most challenging thing. ESPECIALLY when i’m bleary-eyed and sleep deprived (sweet rhyme bro)
my first meal is oatmeal (no milk) and a whey shake with water EVERY SINGLE MORNING. how truly glorious.
it will come down to this…i will wake up and i will be feeling BAD. there is no doubt about it, i will not want to eat that meal. it’ll be that ‘hungry but don’t want to eat that meal, would rather eat nothing or just drink a cup of tea’
**** THAT ****.
unacceptable. i will get out of bed like a full lord and go down and run the shaker under the tap with cold water, put my chocolate whey into it blend that **** up.
then start drinking it will i measure my oats on the scale and pour them into the pot and start cooking them.
PURE GLORY. it will be the best meal of my entire day.
