You be foolin’ when you ain’t Toolin’! What?! Lol…

March 26, 2009

Here’s a list of Tools and Products I’ve found useful in my plan. They aren’t required as I still got results without them, but the results were slower than what I wanted.

Websites:
www.bodybuilding.com
www.bodyspace.com
www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate ( I stumbled upon this site by accident. I was looking for a way to record my calorie intake, without me having to remember. It’s FREE and easy to use. You search for what you ate, click I ate this Today, then enter the amount you ate. It adds up all the foods you ate for the day give you a break down of calories, fat, carbs, protein, sodium, etc. If you set a goal as well it will tell you how many calories you can eat a day. Check it out. )

Supplements:
Creatine (Powder was my choice)
100% Whey Protein (Cookie && Cream flavor…Yum)
HotRox ( Thermogenic - I like them compared to Hydroxycut. I had take Hydroxycut before a year ago and found good results ) - Plus I’m always in a good mood, like it has mood boosters too or something.
Animal Cuts ( Therm / Thyriod Regulator ) I take these on my HotRox off period.
Multi-Vitamins
Fish Oil Capsules
FlaxSeed Capsules

Tools:
HeartBeat Watch (Walmart has some for $20)
Scale
Tape Measure
Calendar - To measure all my success! Each day I record calories burned by cardio or lifting, what muscle group I worked, etc.

These are just some tools I found to help me get an edge in my journey. Take care and good living!

Truly,
Jeremy W.

The Beginning - Everyone starts somewhere

I can remember back in the day ( 10 years ago…lol ) when I was at what I thought a peak performance level. Yes it was High school. I was on the varsity basketball team and well on the soccer team. I was lean and cut, confident, energetic, always doing what I want. I recall spending a lot of weekends riding my bike on mountain trails with my buddies. Then LIFE hit, when I had more responsibility than just studying and chilling. I had to work, pay bills, deal with stress, women, partying, etc.
Now fast forward a few years - 2 failed marriages, still working on graduating, paying off debts, etc. At least I got a beautiful daughter out of it all and a great experience. Isn’t that what life is all about? Experience? Why do we do the things we do, even if they aren’t always the smart choice and even if someone else warns us of the consequences? To experience the outcome ourselves. I met this really wonderful girl and she opened my eyes to a lot of different things, although she’s 8 years younger me. Live with no regrets, because the past is what made who I am today. A stronger, wiser man. So the beginning of a new era. A more healthier me. I decided since I have the time to transform myself after always "wishing" I had a body like the other guys who are fit. So I finally did something about it. It was difficult at first, but after the first month it became more of a "habit" or second nature. I don’t have to make an excuse or force myself to workout. The best part is seeing the actual change in my body, health, energy levels, you name it. That gets me more pumped up! I’m still working on getting to where I want to be, am I satisfied? I’d say so. Am I done? Hell No! Lol. I can’t wait until my baby sees me now! Only a few more weeks to go until she’s home!
