I understand what you are going through. The hardest part was accepting the diagnosis. The next step was to learn to take control of it. The medication helps but the biggest challenge was to look at it square in the eye and say "I will not let you control me. I will control you." The medication will take a little time to work. Go kick it's ass!

It's been two weeks now since the last time I had any attack/episode/whatever. I sound like an alcoholic :)

However I did get a thought of bingeing on Friday night but instead got home, had some tea and a protein shake and then went to bed an hour later.

So you can't really control what you think you can control your reaction to it. Eventually if I keep curbing the behaviour I'm guessing the thoughts will go away eventually.

I just wanted to lend a (( hug )) of support because fighting something (I know what you mean.. seems shorter in your mind when its been a long time) like this is tough.

Collect all the support you can.. here.. home.. everyone who loves you

Rooting for you and your best health..
thank you for sharing your struggles out loud. That alone took a lot of strength.

It sounds like you have lots of people in your life who love you and want to help you. You can beat this - just be strong, use the people on this site for motivation &amp; support too. Stay focused on your training and diet - for me, eating clean made me feel so much better mentally that my panic attacks disappeared. I think these disorders have alot to do with 'control' and if you focus on controlling what you put into your body I know you can win this battle!

There is plenty of information on my blog, and the bodybuilding.com forums. Heaps of people have done it and so there are lots of tips and help.

I'd suggest http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4991963 as a good starting point.
