G’Day all,

This is going to be a bit long winded but I need to get it off my chest.

Everyone in my family admire fit athletic sports people.  I can remember a couple of years ago my Uncle told me that my cousin was at Mark Ricciuto’s (he was the Captain of the Adelaide Crow’s AFL Team, Brownlow Medalist, All Australian Player and Premiership Captain in 98) brothers house having a swim.  Mark walked in after a pre season training seassion for a swim.  My cousin said Roo was so cut he had a six pack on his back.  Every one in the family was in admiration for how fit he was, only because the way he looked because a game hadn’t been played yet for the season.

Now what is annoying me is I have my goals to get to 10% BF (remembering I was once 106 kilo and close to 30%BF) most of my family and friends keep telling me I shouldn’t be trying to loose any more weight.

What people don’t realise is that I’m eating more but when you exercise and eat clean, if the weight come’s off it obviously has to.  Back in November 2006 I was in one of my best mate’s Wedding.  On the day I was weighing in at 82.5 kg with BF of 26.78% thats 21.78kg of fat.  Today I’m weighing in at 86.9 kg with BF of 19 % thats 16.51 kg of fat.  So I’m heavier obviously due to muscle gains and having a lower BF% but everyone is still telling me not to loose and more weight.

Sorry for ranting it gets frustrating at times and just had to vent.

8 weeks left in cutting phase

Well I’ve got 8 weeks left till I’m at the end of my cutting phase.  Still aiming to reach 10% body fat, just need to eat really, really clean. 

Going to start doing double cardio each day as of tomorrow.  1 hour first thing in the morning a nice long walk then 45 minutes after my last meal of the day.

Its 7 days into the new year and in Adelaide we’ve had some hot weather upto 40c again this week and I’ve been strong enough to not reach for a beer.  Thats a good sign

Supplement BSN N.O.-XPLODE

Wow, had my first ever dose of BSN N.O.-XPLODE today.  When I read up on it, it was stated that it gives you an unbeleiveable pump.  Needless to say I was thinking it was just a Marketing Ploy.

I just finnished Chest and Triceps and I have the shakes in my arms like when you first start training.  I had trouble getting the tuna on my fork upto my mouth.  This stuff is great.  Can’t wait to use it on Sunday when I’m due to do legs. Reckon there will be a good chance I’ll have trouble walking after that session.

Great first workout after Xmas

Wow today was my first workout since last friday, due to being away and all the celebrations.

I lifted more today for virtually every exercise for Back and Biceps.  Bring on 2008 I’m feeling the best I have ever felt before.

I hope you have all enjoy your time this christmas.  On the 1st of December I set myself a goal to not put on any weight over the Christmas / New Year period. 

Have to admit I haven’t trained for a few days its just been to hard, I’m to scared to hope on the scales at the moment, might wait till New Years Eve. 

Adelaide has a huge sporting festive that starts today so I reckon tomorrow will be a big ride to the beach (I’ll go the long way) to watch it and then Back and Biceps in the afternoon.

Measuring BF% of an evening to keep me eating clean

Tuesday night I normally don’t finnish work until 8.30 - 9.00pm and when I get home I have myself a egg white omlete otherwise I’m still awake at 1am.

Last night when I came home my dad had left a plate of Tommie Ruffs (a small fish found in Australian and New Zealand water) fried in Coopers Beer Batter.  These are definately a weakness of mine and would normally sprinkle them with lemon juice and eat them till I feel ill.

Of late I’ve been weighing myself on my Taniata scale before I eat my dinner because I also measure my hydration %and Body Fat %. When I got on the scales last night I noticed I’d dropped 0.6% in Body Fat since my last weigh in givinfg me a loss of 610 grams of actual body fat.  This was enough for me to ignore the Tommie Ruffs and sit back and enjoy my omlette.
