End of Week 3
Well, if anyone is actually viewing this, sorry for not posting in a LONG time. I guess I just got busy/lazy with other stuff. I’ve still been keeping up with p90x though. For people who know p90x, the end of week 3 signals the start of a recovery week (all cardio, no weights at all). So far, I’ve been impressed with p90x. I noticed that my stomach is slightly firming up and I can start to see the outlines of the "V" in my abs…very slight though. Also, I’ve lost quite a bit of the fat in my chest or man boobs as you might say. Not much fat loss in my arms and legs.
Anyways, my analysis is this so far. The plyometrics section is absolutely brutal, it really is the mother of all the workouts. It works your legs like no other, and your endurance really builds. I can keep up with that workout a little better now. The arms workout really sucks if you have the bands. I haven’t really gained anything, in fact, I think I only maintained my arm size. The chest and back day is glorious. All of the push ups leaves my chest and triceps with a pump for about 2 days. The yoga is a bit difficult for me right now, I’ve improved my flexibility a bit though after 3 sessions. Kenpo X seems like it takes forever but it’s actually fun and over before you know it. Lastly, Ab Ripper X. There’s 349 reps. In the beginning I did probably 250-275 of them. Now, I’m probably doing about 300 reps. My ab strength is slowly increasing. Anyways, that’s it for now. I’m off into recovery week. Also, I hope I can stick with p90x. I’m going back to school soon so it’ll be pretty difficult.

Héy man, great work with the P90X. I’m about to start it myself in a couple weeks, got the dumbbells instead of the bands for more muscle gain. Good luck and keep it up. Don’t let school be an excuse, your brain and body are equally important.
