DOWN WITH SICKNESS

Not down and out with the sickness..pushing through it. Ugh! Make it go away! Due to lack of sleep and needing it..I have missed going to my affiliate..but I have been still doing my WOD’s @ the gym..so yesterday I did a quick WOD..

"The 200"

25 squats

25 overhead lunges with #35

25 pushups

25 situps

25 wallballs #14

25 double unders

25 dumbbell swings #35

25 burpees

time..10:33..I didn’t do too bad considering I was sick..

Today I worked with my trainer on cleans and snatches..which I am definitely noting a gr8 improvement on both lifts as well as my overhead squat.

progressive cleans..thigh, above the knee, below the knee, shin, ankle

#75/6, 85/6, 95/6 x 3 (we were gonna go to #100 but I struggled with the last 3 reps at #95 and right now it is about perfecting my form so I can eventually move more wt.)

snatch high pull

#85/6, 95/6, 95/6, 100/6, 100/6 (the last set at 100 was a struggle)

and my favorite…the snatch squat..I snatched only @ #65 x 1 then into an overhead squat for 10 reps x 4 sets. Ass to the floor. My snatch is really coming along. The goal on this lift as well is to perfect the form so I can move more wt. I felt really good with my workout today…still feel like **** physically but it was good to move some wt and seeing and feeling the improvement. =)
