OK So here it is a Sunday night. Holiday tomorrow and off work. So why so special that I am writing this? I just realized how dedicated I am to giving my all towards my next show. My wife got a phone call earlier today. We were asked to go to a party tonight. So I decided to stay home with the kids and let Tina go so I can prepare my food for the week ahead and other bodybuilding stuff. No other reason for this post. I just want this as a reminder to myself 5-6 months from now when I have those doubts about going through with competing again.

After many posts and pm’s about my little "episode" about possibly not competing next year, I have made my mind up today.
On August 18th no more wings and beer, Taco Bell etc etc…
I will be eating clean and training my ass off for the Northern Ky
and the Natural Ohio shows. Since they are a couple weeks apart and close to home why not, right. This will give me 7 months prep time.
Now with that being said. If I do not place 3rd or better in both shows I can hang up my posing suit. NO questions asked.
Fair enough?
Actually for the first time yesterday I saw the score card from the
Northern Ky show I did in 2007. I see that it was close than I thought.

So I am going to sleep, eat and live bodybuilding.
Starting Aug. 18th of course.

How many times have you gone to a show and said: WTF are the judges looking at? Obviously not the same stage I am. I recently read in someones journal where people wrote about this guy they saw compete this past weekend, they said:
He looked much better conditioned than the other people in his class but took a lower placing.
After reading this and falling victim to it myself in the past, I wonder if I should bust my ass and set foot on stage again. My wife says "Think positive and give it your all for next year as planned. You never know it could be your best year yet."
Most likely I will go through with it and do the Northern Kentucky as planned in 2009.

So here I was standing three feet from the mirror dumbells just in front of me. Behind me was about ten feet of free space. I am just about to bend down to grab my weights. Some Assbag steps right over the dumbells nearly hits my head as I am starting to bend down.
I let it go and proceed to do my set. This Goofball walks in front of me while there is plenty of room behind me, litterally having to turn his body to get by while doing my set. WTF!
He goes over to the Smith Machine puts on a couple 35’s to do bench presses. He could barely get 5 reps. taking this in account, I just shook my head in disgust and went on with my business.
If this Jackass comes back to the gym and does this kind of crap again I will say something then. Damn I am turning into a much nicer person or something like that.

I was tearing down my deck in the back yard this past Friday. I woke up Saturday morning with a little bit of a stiff neck. Sunday I could barely move it. Was suppose to workout yesterday but my neck was still bothering me. Today I still feel it a little. Years ago I would have pushed it and went to the gym but, now I am going to wait until tomorrow.
Just had to vent a little.
All happy now because I am looking forward to Back & Tri’s tomorrow.
