Feels like I am starting over

This past month has been a real battle with sticking to my diet and training consistantly. I was sick for 10 days then I had doctor appointment for my kids, this past week I had to take 4 days off because of problems at home. FINALLY today I am going to the gym and kill my legs. Saturday and Sunday are already set aside to hit the gym as well.

I guess Sunday night I will get my food ready for the following day and Monday I will get up an hour early and do a session of cardio b4 work. Maybe that is the little extra something that I need to get things going again?

It’s payback time BEEEOTCH!!!

In a previous post a few weeks ago I had to rant about a guy at my gym. This Goofball left the sled full of plates and refused to help take them off after his HALF ASS attempt at doing his sets. Yesterday was my turn. This same guy had the balls enough to ask me how many sets I had left. I simply answered one. I had 5 plates on each side and did my last set. after my last set I added 3 more plates per side then walked away. As I was walking away he started to say something but I just kept walking to the squat rack.

Maybe this Jackass got the hint?

The next three days are dead as far as training with weights due to uncontrollable circumstances. I hit the gym today thinking I would try to do a full upper body workout in this order: Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps and traps. I did two excercises per body part 3 sets each excercise. On my first set of traps I started to get lightheaded then on the second set I felt sick and ran to the bathroom. As soon as I got there here it came. It was a close call to get to the bathroom but dam after I feel like I really accomplished something… I will NEVER do it again but DAM in a really weird way it was really good.

 Now I am going to Max Muscle to buy some supplements and really try my hardest over the next 3 1/2 months to get in the best shape ever. Better than the best that I looked in 2004 when I took home (2) 2nd place finishes… HERE I COME BODYBUILDING WORLD> ARE YOU READY FOR ME? :)

This makes me think, when new members come to my gym and the "personal trainer" there puts them through a workout it is always a full body one. Maybe thats why I never see them come back?

A great sign today

After being sick and lethargic for two weeks I felt like the 6 months I worked on bulking washed away. Today I went to the gym and felt really good. Now what made me feel real good was that I had an UNEXPECTED compliment that HARDLY EVER happens from my unsupportive wife, she said WOW you look big. This was a real shock because she does not know how I felt about feeling like I lost size. My "mental place" right now is to give it all and go for broke training for my next show.

Finally

I almost went insane, I have been sick for 10 days with headach’s, body pains, runny nose, upsidedown stomach, and just down right warn out. Today I woke up and finally felt normal. I am going to rest today and tomorrow to make sure I am fully recoverd then Friday start the training with Legs. I feel that all the hard work I put into gaining some size over the past few months just went out the window. Now it feels like I am starting all over mentally getting prepared to diet and train.

You would think over how MANY MANY YEARS I have been training it would be easy to just get back into it. This weekend will be the test to see if it is easy or not to get ready for March. I am hoping it will be. ;)
