Woke up this morning and packed my lunch, same as usual. I managed to stay on my diet and think positive. Since I came up short on my goal yesterday, I decided the next few days I will just try to lose some weight and not train.
Got home from work and put the plastic sauna suit on and did 50 minutes on the stepper. I will do another 30 minutes with just a sweatshirt on before bed. I think I was just burned out from many months of training so stricktly.

Most people go the the gym to get rid of their frustrations. Well not me if I am mentally messed up I can not train or diet correctly. Work has me so depressed that I can’t think straight. I should have been happy on my b-day today but I just can’t. Also I am getting doubts about my show in 2 months and think I should just give up. Hopefully I will go to bed and wake up tomorrow and be my old self.

05:00 oatmeal/protein drink
08:30 2 cans tuna
11:30 2cans tuna * Flaxseed oil *
14:30 protein bar
16:30 Protein drink and 45 minutes cardio. My stiff neck yesterday was a prelude to a slight cold. I decided to take today off at the gym to let the body recoup. I feel almost back to normal tonight and should be back on track tomorrow to prepare for my show on March 24th.
18:30 2 large fish filets and an apple
21:30 Protein drink. and bed

Woke up this morning and my wife took Colin to the hospital and I had a stiff neck. She was there until 11:00 and he is fine. I was out of Tuna, Eggs and Steak so I packed up the little army Darren, Jaylin, Colin and the wife to do some grocery shopping. Watched a movie to have family time. My Ex just picked up Darren now I can do some cardio for 45 minutes on the stepper and make my steak then bed.

Bench press 135 3 warm up sets, 1852 sets as many as I could do, 205 3 sets 8 reps. Incline bench press 2 warm up sets 135, 185 3 sets 8 reps, Hammer Strength regular 3 sets with 1 plate each side as many reps to failure.
Biceps standing dumbell curls 35lb 3 sets, 45’s 3 sets, cable straight bar curl 3 sets 100lb stack to failure.
Abs 3 sets Sit ups, 3 sets leg lifts, 3 sets crunches.
27 minutes of cardio on the elliptical level 15.
Went out to dinner with 4 other couples and was able to stick to water and eat a clean meal. Now that is how I know that I am TOTALLY dedicated to win my next show.

Today it took everything I had to get my ass to the gym. Once I got my first warm up set on the leg extensions I was FULL BLOWN into it.
3 total warm up sets, then 2 sets slow and hold at top for three count for 10 reps, then 3 sets heavy for 8 reps with a drop set to really burn them, then hit leg curls 2 warm up sets, 4 sets heavy, then 2 sets heavy with holding at top at 8 reps. Hit the Smith machine squats with a plate each side full ass to the ground reps as many as I can do for 4 sets then added quarters for 3 more sets full squats as many as I can do then I hit 4 sets of calves on the hack squat 3 sets on seated calf raise. Finished on the elliptical for 20 minutes on level 20.
Low carb high protein diet like monday’s post.

Today I got home from work and decided to take the day off from weight training and cardio completely and spend the time with the wife and kids. My diet was the same as yesterday exept dinner I had a "cheat meal" Spaghetti and juice.
I am already looking forward to doing legs tomrrow.

Started off with Hammer strength shoulder press 3 warm up sets with 1 plate each side. added a plate and did a set 12 reps. added 25’s and busted out 3 sets of 8 reps. 3 sets of side laterals, 3 sets of rear delts heavy 50lb dumbells, finished off with front delt raises
4 sets of 45lb dumbell shruggs hold and stretch for a 6 count, 3 sets with 80lb dumbells.
3 sets weighted crunch machine, 3 sets of leg lifts.
The cardio room was jammed packed again so no cardio after workout today. I will do 30 minutes at home tonight at 20:00
Diet today was exactly as Monday and yesterday.
Overall a real good day training and diet.

Still more crowded than usual at the gym with the new years resolution people. I Started back with the Hammer strength with 2 warm up sets then 3 plates a side and did 12 great reps so I added another plate and busted out 3 sets of 8 reps. Next was the Bent over rows. I had to use the Smith Machine but it was AWESOME (must do them more on the S.M.) went up to 2 plates each side for 3 sets. Fineshed back with 3 super sets of lat pull downs front, behind neck.
Triceps- I couldn’t get on the bench to do Skull Crushers so I settled with push downs for 5 sets then rope push downs for 4 sets, fineshed off with 3 sets of 30lb. dumbell kick backs.
5 sets Abs
20 minutes elliptical on level 15
Diet today is exactly the same as yesterday.

First thing this morning was great news, my waist measures 31" @ 149lbs. I am starting to really think that I will be ready to take the stage in 9 weeks. Lets see if I go on this mental roller coaster ride like in the past.

16:30 Today was a really strong hard chest and bicep workout. I felt really good. The gym was insane with new people and couldn’t get on a cardio machine at all. I didn’t get frustrated, I thought maybe I should take a day off from cardio since I haven’t taken a day off from cardio in months.
18:30 2 large fish filets and an apple
21:00 Protein drink. and bed early
