A new day…

So its been a very long time since I’ve been on here. I’ve had a rough year with a change of jobs, my daughter had cancer, financial stresses, emotional relationship. I’ve gained 15 pounds :( Cant seem to get motivated no matter what I do. My workouts are spuratic to nil. I eat nothing but crap. Woke up today and decided today is a new day. I am going to leave work and go join the gym. I’ve come back here for inspiration. I’ve done it before I know I can do it again.

    I feel your pain and when I have moments of needing help I refer to a couple of quotes to help me get back on track. Here they are;

    "Worrying about tomorrow takes away from today’s strength."

    Achievement lies within the reach of those "who reach beyond themselves."

    Your body is the only thing that is truly yours and that you truly have control over. Some from that point once you make the decision you are going to get fit other areas in your life will improve. I am honestly believe that. When you look great you feel great and your self esteem will be high. Do it for yourself you can into this world by yourself and therefore you can motivate yourself. I believe you want this and I believe you can achieve it!
    Sincerely a virtual fan :)

    Check my blog post for June 27 on "motivation". Don’t rely on the ‘feeling’ of being motivated to stay at it. Motivation is an emotion with ebbs & flows, goes up & down, etc. Rely on habit, determination & persistence. These will keep you going over the long haul, even on those days you don’t ‘feel’ like working out or eat healthy. Be a Nike girl…….JUST DO IT.

    Good luck. You CAN do it.

    Al, is correct as always. You can do this, I can’t promise you that it will be easy or without sacifice, pain and suffering. (You are problaly saying, are you trying to help or hurt me! LOL) But, isn’t anything worthwhile almost alway hard to get, but that what makes it worthwhile in the first place! So keep at it, you can do this! We know you can!
