FST-7 Training

January 13, 2009

Ok so I gave the DC training a go and found that it was not for me. I found I was sore beyond normal sorness and began to regret a workout the next day. Then found myself to sore to hit that bodypart the next time around. I like the sorness of a good workout but this didnt seem the good soreness i am use to. As well as I didnt feel the pump I was use to or the great feeling of a good workout. So I gave up the workout after I began to lose weight as well. So now i have adopted the fst-training which is more like what I have been use to anyway. Just adding the 7 sets in to mix things up. Let me tell you I love this workout so far. Pumps like never before and the good old soreness like days of old. I began using Gaspari 4 most Anabolic stack today as well so lets see where this goes. I will be taken pictures tomorrow to see what changes I make in the next month. I am also keeping a record now of my workouts so I will be posting those changes as well. Here’s to a new year!!!! Time to make a stand and be recognised.

DC Training?

December 5, 2008

Ok so i am reading more about this dc training by donte…. I find it interesting but i am a bit skeptic about it. I am stuck in that ever so boring rutt and cant break through so i need a change. I have been HIT training for a while all dorian style with a hint of my own. So do i dare dc train? I know it will take some working to figure out what works best for me i know, but i think its worth a shot. I have my nutrition down to a perfect T. I know what I can do and cant do with calories and all. By the way I have gone to eating red meat everyday at dinner, wow what a big change a good quality steak can do for you! At 5′11 198-200 with a 30-31 waist I feel i am right where i need to be at this point in the year, I know begin the bulk up, wich is hard for me because i enjoy being lean but know i cant hold it forever. Anyway, any of you have some suggestions on the dc training aspect? Feel free to give me your opinion or tell me what your doing, i am a hardcore balls to the wall trainer so i am up for anything. Thanks and enjoy the day! p.s. as for my first post a year ago i am now training at a gym in town and am very much training to compete. Now if i do decide to compete is totally up in the air but rest assure if i do it will be at my all time best. Maturity goes a long way!!!

Going at it alone so to say!

December 20, 2007

I have recently made the decision to build my own home gym. I have been working out since I was 17, started competing at 18 and just recently retired for good. I come to the relization that I was not going to be a pro. My first son was born 8 weeks ago and i have yet to return to the gym. I am going to be adding my own equipment for christams so I will be closer to him. Its a drive to the gym and back, so it uses to much time getting there. I am going hard core on this gym, lots of weights and good equipment. No crappy cable and concrete stuff. Real equipment. Since this is my first blog, I want to make it good. So as I build this gym, I will keep you updated with pics and all. I plan on keeping you updated on my progress as well. I firmly believe you can do just as well at home or better than a big name gym. I belong to golds in jackson tennessee, but it doesnt help you when you dont go. This is a new chapter in my life so lets hit it hard. See you guys in the near future…. A a bigger and better me!
