New focus on legs

So today I switched it up and will be changing out regular squats for front squats.  Took me a little while to get used to the positioning- so I went light, trying to nail the form down.  Working sets of 165 on Front Squat, moved over to do four sets of deep barbell lunges w/ 135, then leg extensions & leg curls.  Next time will also incorporate some calf raises and sled work.  I’m liking the new set up- and this Fall legs, core, and chest will be the primary focus.  Good start after taking a few weeks off- can’t wait to see how the next 6 weeks shape up.

Yeah buddy. Front squats are awesome. Go deep, squeeze up with control. Try front squats after heavy leg presses. It’ll get you done!

Marjrminer, thanks for the tip! Once I got used to the form, I really liked how much they seemed to work the full body. One day later and I can assure you, even going light- my legs are feeling it!
