Awesome workout today
Don’t have time to write it all up, but set many pr’s tonight.
Since I switched back to no-explode, I’ve seen a huge intensity jump in my workouts. I was getting ready to cut, but sometimes you just sense a growth surge so I’m gonna stick with my lean bulk.
Started out with both front & back shoulder bb presses. Went up in weight on all sets - felt fantastic. I know it’s overkill, but I wanted to check out how much my db shoulder presses improved afterwards- so I picked up some 65’s and banged out 10 easy reps. Damn, I usually make about 7-8 fresh- and I’ve already crushed my shoulders doing bb. So I upped the ante again- and knocked back two sets of 70’s. If I would have skipped the bb today, I definitely could have repped the 75’s.
Decided to superset some bicep work into the workout. Felt good, but not quite like the shoulders today. The pump felt great- endurance & strength are building. Can’t wait to get back at it tomorrow.
