Good stuff. When I started out I definitely wanted to make sure I was in somewhat decent shape before I joined a gym. Er, why? Isn't that what the gym is for? All I did was pushups though. I was a moron.

This sure looks like an effective program to me (for what that's worth). I'm sure your lifts will skyrocket - along with your muscle mass, as long as you keep the nutrition up. Sometimes it's good to sacrifice a little definition to add strength and mass. I'm sure you'll be able to "cut up" again without too much trouble based on your past history. Keep up the great work - I hope that elbow gets better soon, too!

Good workout - and good advice about form. I agree it makes a lot of difference. I sometimes see guys who are throwing the weights up so hard and bending their backs so much when curling that I'm surprised they don't fall backwards! Congrats on outgrowing the big guys, btw.

Hey, if this type of workout did the trick for Arnold and Dave, and is working for you, it can't be bad at all! It's good to see a relatively young guy looking at some of the legendary bodybuilders for inspiration and ideas - Draper was one of my inspirations when I was little that got me started on working out when I was older. BTW, you might want to check out his book - "Brother Iron, Sister Steel" - for more ideas and insight. Keep up the great work!
