I noted earlier that I had lunch duty today. An interesting observation-there was an overweight student of mine, she had her lunch in her bag, actually, she heated it up, she had a pizza, but do not despair, it was a healthy choices pizza. Not bad choices pizza, but healthy choices pizza….does anyone else see the irony here? What happened to healthy choices like carrot sticks, a sandwich, spaghetti in a thermos, raisin even…healthy choices….
but i’m off to the gym, maybe I’ll stumble across a healthy choices chocolate cake on my way….cheesh!!

I had three meetings back to back yesterday. Starting at 3 in the afternoon, and ending at 10, I actually left before that one was over. I was soooooooooooooooo tired, talk about go home, check the email and hop into bed. I was out like a light in no time. This is where it pays to be PREPARED!! My lunched were already packed and prepped, did it on Sunday. But, along cam the morning time. I didn’t feel like walking, the Diva’s i walk with did not show yesterday so I ended up going by myself, so i knew that they were going to be walking this morning. I was tired. But I went anyway. Let me tell you, even though I was tired, the walk was grrrrrrrrrreat! I love walking in the morning, seeing the sunrise, running by the water, all of that, the air is so fresh, gotta love it. So here i am at school, at my desk, I have lunch duty today; do i feel like laying down and taking a nap? lol yup, but I FEEL GOOD!!

Ok, so i am in my week of OPERATION ERADICATION, and this week, my pants have started to feel a bit more loose. So today, I gave into temptation, i admit, i did it, i….i…. jumped on the scale. :O i usually don’t, but i just wanted to see if it was in my head or what. so, on the scale i climbed….i slid the measuring epice to it’s usual home…311….
hold on….
wait a minute…..
it isn’t balancing…
maybe i am not standing properly….
i check it again..304!!!!!!!!!
wo hooooo!!!! i did it, the scale actually moved off of that dreaded 311. I had a ceremony as i edited my weight on the graph on my bodyspace page. I know that a lot of it is water weight, but hey, THE SCALE MOVED!!! yeeeeeeeeeah BOOOOOOOOYYYYIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! so, if u go back and check my blogs, u will see that i got a bit disccouraged, but i kept at it, is this the end? hell no!! so to all of those of you who think that you can’t do it, PRESS ON……what you are doing isn’t working? take a step back, you might have to readjust your program…..but most importantly…. never give up…..NEVER GIVE UP…..NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I NEED SOME FOOOOD!!!! ha ha ha after working out, i had my post workout whey, with two tablespoons of nattie pbutter to slow it down, but now,…..i …..am….HUNGRY !!!!!!!!!!!!! i need to eat. had a great leg workout today, hit it like a beast. who ho, now, let me go and prepare my food….fooood……

When you are eating frequent meals, it is so amazing how, when the body clock kicks in…IT REALLY KICKS IN!!! wow, you can use your need to eat as a clock. like clockwork, when it is time to eat, your body startd to throw hints at you. amazing. I am always fascinated by the workings of our body. truly an amazing piece of work. I am about to hit the gym now, legs day, whop whop!! so let me at ‘em bring it on, and when i am on that last rep, the burn is kicking in, my shirt is soaked with sweat, and the grunt, along with the clanging of the plates is the only thing that lets you know i am at it; i’ll remember…never give up…NEVER GIVE!!!! now, let me at the weights…peace..more fire!!

today was shoulders and chest, it went pretty good. it was strange not using the gaspari products during the workout, but i still got a good pump. overall, it was a great workout. 30 mins of cardio with my heart rate under 125 bpms was good, wasw different, not going all out like usual, so we’ll see how it goes. i’m outta here-peace and respect!!

Okay, so i am on day 2 of my eradication plan…so far, i want to eat more. with no carbs in the diet, it makes you want to eat more i find. but at least i can feel my metabolic rate picking up, meaning what? Fat is being burned!!! WHOP WHOOP!! my energy levels are doing grea, looking forward to the salmon that i prepped yesterday. i am sitting here munching on my cut up chicken breats and almonds..mmmmmm lol So, so far so good!! Will post more after the workout this afternoon, chest and shoulders, so I’ll let you know how that goes.k? cool-peace and…let the fat buring BEGIN!!!!

Ok people, you know that i had a few lows over the past month, i was hitting it hard and seeing no results. What did i do? Give up? NEVER !! While in Cali last week, i had the chance to take a step back last week and that really helped. In stepping back, i took a new look at everything that i was doing, looked at it from different angles, and less stressed out about it. so i have a new plan, i call it Operation Eradication!! I read a lot of articles, read a looooooooooooooooot of articles, asked questions to certain people while in cali, and took it all and formulated a new plan for myself. i have missed the prep time for the comp i was prepping for, so next year i guess, but i have a new plan. i will be kciking it in on sunday. so i will be sure to keep everyone posted. Operation Eradication!! THIS MEANS WAR!! while walking this morning, it hit me how stress free i felt. my body was not tense, i felt more relaxed, so i am not going to try to get all caught up, but b i know that it may still happen though. but no stress this time baby!
interesting note, i heard a lot of top trainers, Glass, Polumbo, Norton, and many others mention that they do not recommend the concentrated caffeine, stimulant fat burners. Part of the reason is that all of that caffeine suppresses the body, stresses it, and is actually the bodybuilders enemy. so i am going to try this without the help of the hydroxycut hardcore (i never thought it really did much for me anyhow) and just going ot doit and see how it works out.
so i am informed, i am getting ready for….
OPERATION ERADICATION!!

I have just returned from a trip, and on this trip, i went to a lot of different gyms. in visiting these gyms, i have made a lot of observations, i’ll share a few…
1. the bigger you are, the less you do- one of these gyms had some really big, muscular guys, the funny thing is that the little people, the natural ones, were bustin their butts, hitting it hard, the bigger the person, the less they did, the more weight, but the attitude was different…..
2. it is good to visit a few different gyms, helps to keep your perspective fresh and helps to keep you motivated…
3. someone once told me that if you aren’t "doing" anything, you are wasting your time in the gym….well, that is all i’ll say on that one… actually, some have to make the body work for results, some have a lil help in making the body do its thing..
4.i need to refocus, the sad thing is that i am in the week period where i should be prepping for this competition that i am gunning for, the messed up thing is that i am not going down..so i think i’ll have to bow out gracefully. is it upsetting? yes, but i am a realist, and i think i would be living in te clouds if i were to still try to make the date…june 29th, so i am bowing out. still going to hit it and all, but i need to set my sights on another date.
5. rest is good. my little spring break was good, i had a bout of some serious food poisoning, but i’m all good now.
