so I haven’t really posted any new blogs this week. why is that? no particular reason. Didn’t go walking this morning, when I woke up, it was raining, so I chilled. Just came back from the gym, my trainer has the flu, so I knocked it out early today. It was good. I don’t feel like being here in school today either, one more class, than I’m out. hope that your week is going better than mine. Well, it isn’t going bad, it is just going blah. peace out

Well, here we are again, with another week gone by. Rest is coming, and i can’t wait. It has been another good week. Linking up with the three divas in the morning has helped. I have pushed a little harder and a little longer with them, so it is all good. Also, cycling my bike reminded me of the importance of cross-training, as it hits different muscles ensuring that nothing is neglected. My trainer, he is on point, a good man, we had some good chats after the workouts about various things, he is a man who really loves the sport ad does all that he can to further the business of bodybuilding, if you are ever in Bermuda, be sure to stop by Sea View and ask form him, try to get a workout in with him, a good man. Looking forward to seeing the Iron man tomorrow evening. My prediction- Phill Heath is going to get it, and he will get the Arnold win also, he has put on some monster size since last season, and looks good. More props to him and MET-Rx, I must pick some up so that I can look like that also. So, my fellow bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts, have a great weekend. If you are anywhere from Bermuda to Iraq to Puerto Rico-get some rest. eat clean, and enjoy life- peace, love and you can let the fire go out for at least one day this weekend- i am anyway, but oh-don’t worry, the pilot light is still on, back to business on Sunday, but I’m jumping, let me enjoy today while it is today-cool? RESPECT!!!!

After yesterday’s leg workout, I have found out that there is something that has just been added on the endangered species list, as it is on the brink of extinction. What is it? My glutimus maximus. lol Is true, i was doing , with my list of other things, step ups, kicking back the free legs, my butt started to gettingly and felt as if I was getting stung by millions of little bees or something. lol OWWWW!!!!! It went beyong burn. But it is all good, well, now that i am done. lol So i am going for total annihilation. So, add my butt to the endangered species list, cause it is about to be extinct. lol PEEEEEEACE- MORE FIRE!!!!!!!!!

This morning, my "diva" crew and I linked up again. Today it was cycling. Even though I spin a lot, I was using different muscles and was feeling the ride in a different way. This morning reinforced the notion that cross-training is the way to go. Hit the muscles from all sorts of angles. Legs today- will post later and tell you how that goes.

I had a good day today. School is out, we had boring workshops though, but a change of pace is always welcomed. Went walking, my three newly found walking partners didn’t show, they did a 15 miler yesterday, more power to them, we should be on tomorrow though. My workout was good, shoulders and back, went well, and did the eliptical, was in the zone, the cardio went well, my t-shirt was SOAKED!! (which is a good thing) but that is about it for today. My show, like the only one i really watch should be great tonight- Prison Break, lookin forward to that, so, bout to eat my wonderful chicken breasts and veg, and chill out. So to everyone- have a great week- hit it hard-peace

I have been walking in the morning, I usually go by myself, and I am usually jammin to my ipod, well, every morning I pass many walkers, riders and runners, well, yesterday morning, I chatted with three ladies who were walking, so we agreed to link this morning @ 5:45. So we linked, and I usually just walk, but I ran, walked and ran, conquered a monster hill, ran a bit more, and it felt GREAT!!!!! It is funny that when you add a bit of estrogen into the equation, you can boost testosterone production. ha ha ha I had a great morning!! Ready for Monday!!!! Well, kinda.

It is wonderfully lovely outside today, after i make this post, i am going to eat by the waterside and enjoy the day- LOVELY!!!!!!!!!! Ok, so the reason why i’m here- to talk about my workout. Yesterday- true story- leg day, no problem, bring it!! you have seen my previous entries, so my trainer tells me after i warm up- ok, you are going to do 10 reps squatting with one plate, 10 with 2 and 10 with 3. Ok, cool- i think, i can handle that…… "hang on" he says, "that is one set."

That was my reaction. lol yesterday was good, the squatting was soo good, felt like a religious experiance almost. It really felt good. My glutes are a bit sore today from doing them, but it really felt great. That was the beginning of the workout, if I continue and tell the rest, you may consider this blog to be obscene, it may cause little children to cry, men and women to never enter the gym again. lol nah, maybe not that bad, but it was a hard workout. but it felt GOOD!!!!!! So my good people, hit it hard, or take it home- MORE FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a busy one, and I didn’t quite know how it was all going to work out. Praise God that all is well. I ended up having three cardio sessions, went walking this morning, went at lunchtime, and then found out that my school was to go to a high-school’s open-house, and we were walking, a 20 minute walk at that. But today was LOVELY so I enjoyed it, had my bottle of water, so, here i am chilling, hit the gym at lunchtime so I got to come straight home today, good feeling, now I am off to the radio station where i engineer a talk-show for teachers-so i’m out-peace, love and respect people!!

Okay, I am about to wax poetic, are you ready for this? As I was opening my door this evening, I noted the moths by the light, they were flying in and out, and I was thinking, "how dumb, that has to hurt…" (you see whereI am going with this right? ) Well, in the words of Janet (Ms. Jackson if ya nasty ) like a moth to the flame, burned by the fire, my love is blind, can you see my desire? How often do we go to the gym, burn,eat plain chicken breasts, wake up 5 in the morning, pant, sweat, ache, get sore for the next two days, but yet we go back, day after day. We are those moths, they are burned by desire….
Are you burned by desire? It is the desire to be the best, to cut up or bulk up, or just to relieve the stress of life that drives us to the gym day after day, putting our bodies through all of that, and loving it all at the same time.
Do all moths fly into the light? Nah, just certain ones, just a lil bit different then the other moths, they are drawn to the light, drawn to what it can bring. (hey i’m no moth expert, i don’t know why they do it ) Not everyone that starts in the gym lasts, you have seen them, the new year resolutioners, the just brokke=up-and-want to-impress my boyfriend/girfrienders, and the rest. You gotta love it, if not forget it.
And the crazy thing is, the more fire, the workout brings, the more we love it (sometimes ) , we love to push ourselves, to go all out, to go hard, the same with the moths, the bigger the bulb, the more moths it attracts, the more they love it. sick huh?
but, enough depth for tonight, my chicken breasts are calling….mmmmm MORE FIRE!!!!

just came from the gym, my oven is on preheat, fish has been soaking, outside is beautiful- life is good! had a good workout today, legs, and cardio- did the bike, it was good, wasn’t quite flowing, but it was good non the less.So now, i am waiting for the oven to hit 350, i’ll eat, and then clean up around the house a bit, been neglecting a feww things. so i hope that all have a great week- stay motivated, and on those days when you are really feeling great, hit it hard, cause then you have those days when you don’t feel like doing it. So enjoy your workouts, but most of all, enjoy life. i’m out people- peace, love, respect, blessings, and MORE FIRE!!!
