Easy Grilled Lemon Chicken
PREP TIME 10 Min
COOK TIME 12 Min
READY IN 42 Min
SERVINGS & SCALING
Original recipe yield: 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
DIRECTIONS
Rinse chicken breasts and pat dry with paper towels. Stir together the lemon juice, soy sauce, ginger, and black pepper in a bowl; pour into a large, resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken breasts, seal the bag, and massage to evenly coat chicken with lemon juice mixture. Place in refrigerator to marinate at least 20 minutes, or up to 24 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat. Lightly oil grill grate, and place about 4 inches from heat source.
Drain and discard marinade from the bag, and place chicken on preheated grill. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear, 6 to 8 minutes on each side.

My gym was closed today so I had to pink up some d$$s and go to another one. It’s cool, no problemo, it is good to mix it up every now and then. Today was back and shoulders. Actually I did shoulders first, felt good, everything at 15 reps, talk about BURN!!!!!! Our motto is "MORE FIRE!!" let it burn baby!! So I hit it hard, did back afterwards, then donkey calf raises, u know, until the legs got wobbly- gotta love it!! Then it was all about the cardio, didn’t like the eliptical machine, the stride was shorter, but it’s all good baby!! So , so far, it’s on!! HIT IT HARD in 2008, okay, that doesn’t rhyme, so how about 2008-loose some weight, or less on the plate in 2008, lol or goota make it great in 2008. ok, so I know I am waxing poetic, thank you thank you thank you. So to everyone, have a great new year, we’ve got to do it k? Encourage each other and remember….. MORE FIRE!!!!!!!!!

Okay, wow, my signature says nothing tastes as good as being fit feels. Wow, how true, today was legs and cardio, oh boy, why did I go easy for the past few weeks? Talk about hurting!!! lol, but it was good though. 15 mins of spinning afterwards, nothing too hard, just keeping the legs moving. Then I got inspired to go and cut my grass- what was I thinking?!?!?!? lol ha ha ha but it is cut though, yes I was hurtin a bit, but at least I can rest knowing my grass is cut and the yard looks good. The fish is in the oven now, and I am about to enjoy some tilapia and broccoli- mmmmm. like i said- IT’S ON!!!!!!

Today is the day. In a bit I am going to eat my yummy tuna salad! and then hit the gym, legs and cardio. It is going to be high reps, circuit trining the type that you have to dig deep to do, but I’ll post later how it went.

Hello everyone, I am doing this so that you can help me out. Encouragement really helps. Someone at my gym says" nothing tastes as good as being fit feels" . I really like this quote, but I have to admit, for the past two weeks, I think I was trying to see if this statement was true or false. I am gearing down now, getting ready to kick everything into high gear. Soon, the tilapia, the chicken breasts (gross) and the tuna will be kicking in - no holds barred. I am ready for it. Ready for more fire training! lol My metabolic rate must be as fast as a sloth surfing on a winter’s day in a lake of molases, so i have to go through the fire. But i am ready, will be posting it all on here, feel free to leave a comment k? peace and love
