Well in less than a week i’m turning 30.  When i first wrote my profile here on bodyspace my goal was to be a “hot 30 yr old.  So far i think i have achieved it.  I’m very proud of my accomplishments. I never thought when i first started that would be wearing tiny bikini’s, well i am now and not afraid to show it off.  Happy bday to me :)

Business trips - workout and still diet

In a couple weeks i will heading to Halifax, Nova Scotia for work.. Its going to be nice to leave Ottawa for a week, but I will be stuck in a hotel room.  I’m planning to keep up with my workouts and diet during that week, i’ll have to plan out by finding a good gym since hotel gyms sometimes just sucks and hit a grocery store so i don’t have to eat out every day.

Day 1 of my Personal Challenge

Today is day 1 of my personal challenge, I’m very excited and pumped can’t wait to hit legs later today.  So for the next 12 weeks see what I can accomplished.  I even set up a thread to keep myself motivated and I’m very happy there’s a few people are participating to my challenge this should go very easy.

Eating at work

I’m eating my chicken and pita, plain boring chicken little spiced (garlic, cayenne and chili powder).  Well I work in a scent free environment.  But every time I eat, its always an issue with co-workers, that my food stinks.. I can’t even eat any tuna or fish here people get a little too excited.  I have been very accomodating with my fish and replaced it with protein shake.. but now my chicken.. give me a freakin’ break.  I guess that’s my little vent of the day.. lol..
To makes things worse, its -28F with the windchill right now.

New year, new goals.. Who’s up for it..

I’m sure we all enjoyed the holidays and all those tasty foods.  Now that the new year is just around the corner the gym will packed of new members.  Since I dont have a real short term goal, I feel I need one.  I feel i do much better at my diet and workout if i have a little competition.  So, who’s up for a personal challenge?  Who wants to challenge me?

For the past 5 weeks I’ve been indulging a little too much.  I’ve gained 10lbs. Last night I wrote out my new diet that I will be doing for the next 2 weeks and go from there.  Did all my cooking last night and I felt pump to get back into my routine.  I did enjoy the tasty foods but made me feel like crap too.  Its incredible how easy it is to fall off the wagon.

It just hit me yesterday after seeing my friends who are 1 week out.. I am soo proud of them and I can’t wait to see them and cheer for them November 10th.. Kinda felt a little emotional that I won’t be on stage with them.. I knew I wouldn’t be ready anyways and I have accomplished SOOO much since June.  And I know I will look fabulous for my competition June 2008.. Why do i feel like this??

Back on track

Well this week after making the decision not to compete in November, i took things alot more relaxed.. I’ve had plenty of tasty foods, went out last night had maybe a little too many drinks. Ok.. i had alot, so now i’m recovering from the hangover - I will be taking an extra day off from the gym tomorrow to be fully recovered, and tuesday will start all over again.. Soo excited can’t wait to push that weight and watching my body transform once again..
