How Far Can You Go??
Wow! This journey into bodybuilding has been some ride. When I started bodybuilding close to 2 years ago… I never dreamed it would lead to any where but sweating in my basement…lol I wanted to get into shape…. but I never thought it would become such a driving force in my life! There are so many things I never saw myself doing… or should I say thought I could / would be doing? First off is my training. I never thought I would be a Personal Motivator for others. Hell to be honest…. when I started I was skeptical like my Wife…. how long will this last? I tend to lose interest in things very quiclky. Well since I have started training others… my passion for bodybuilding has grown even larger. Now not only do I get to see my own body achievements… I have 7 extra bodies (right now) to watch change. I also get to watch and enjoy the happiness of my clients as they reach and surpass their goals…. now thats exciting! I have been graced with the oppertunity to do a Ad for Bodybuilding.com in several different magazines. I also have a up comming billboard Ad for a local company named Armstrongs. I have also had a lot of exposure at the Hospital where I work… in news letters and Monthly Info print (largest Employer in the county) and now my Gym Gear. I’m working on a website right now (with some expert help…lol ) to Sale some of my Gym gear with different sayings. I have teamed up with a local print shop….who will be turning out my ideas. I hope to have it up and online real soon. I will offer T-shirts…. Muscle Shirts… Hats & Beanies and of course…. there is a large discount to my friends of "THE CIRCLE" Just seeing Pics of you hard bodies in my gear…. would be awsome!! Also I have some exciting news : Last night after a training session with a Husband and Wife that I train very regular…. who have also become close friends to my family. They brought a very thought out business offer to the table. They want to become partners in the Gym I have been looking into starting (I mean out of my Basement….lol) and brought some very new and exciting ideas. I have been looking for a building for awhile…. but I refuse to over pay for it! They brought a very economical idea I had not considered. I have a 1 1/2 car detached garage…. that basically I use as a shed…. since I have a 2 1/2 car garage attached to my home. Well they brought the plan of converting that garage into a gym (very quick and easy solution) and would be about 3 of the Gyms I have right now. Renovation of the Garage into a gym could be done for under $25,000 including the extra equipment I would like to purchase. It would be all season ready with a full bath. They said they would like to go in half on this endever. Well then my Wife threw out option #2 (she has a very good Business mind and sometimes keeps me grounded….lol) She asked why dont you just convert your one property into your gym? I have a Two bedroom Two Story House that is vacant right now. I’m already covering the mortgage cost anyways..why not use it? I could use the first floor and full basement for exercise areas… have a Kitchen for the supplement whores…lol Also has a full Bath… Could use one Bed room as a office / Gym gear Headquaters….lol and convert the other into a gaming room incase they bring kids along while they work out. Just have a couple X-box games and Tv’s and throw in a couple computers…. Just something to keep the kids entertained why the parents work out. That house also has a 1 1/2 car garage detached that could be used as a work out area in the warmer months. There is ample parking area and could be easliy re-zoned (spot zone) to OS from R-2… so I could operate the business out of it. Not the greatest layout I admit! But could be used until a better oppertunity presents it’s self. Also free’s up cash for the purchase of the equipment I would like to add. Well a lot to think about!! I also have a business oppertunity from are Bro of the Iron and his lovely Wife Mr & Mrs. Trixter & JG (AKA…. Adam & Courtney) That just might work nicley into the online store for my gym gear. If you want to know more about that oppertunity (which I think looks like a good oppertunity for some extra supplement money…lol ) you will need to ask Mr. Trixter….. thats his baby…. and he knows a lot more about it than I do! Well I have a ton of things to get done today… starting with the moving of the Iron…. a rental repair…. and ending with Two training sessions tonight (oh and have to drop off my logo for the t-shirts) Well till then keep on Keepin…. you never know where your journey will lead you! For me combining Two things I love (working out and Business) it just dont get any better than that!!

Oh no, GJ’s having a low carb day!
I like your wife’s idea better. The first thing I thought was if you open your garage as a gym you will have people at your house. Right now your business is small and you can chose who you train but if you make it just a gym than I think you’d rather be more selective of who’s hanging around your house.

So many incredible possibilities floating around. Grab em baby, grab em! Personally, I like the idea of the garage next to your house for the gym. It has that ease aspect to it. Sounds like more of an upstart though cost-wise. But very nice to be able to just walk through your yard to get to your clients. Of course, the game room for kids at the rental house sounds great as well. Go with your instincts~!

WOW! This is awesome! As far as the house, yes I think that is a better option, too. The first gym I belonged to was a multi-story building. Who knows what it originally was, but there was a basement, too. (that’s where the nautilus equip was, and where I spent most of my time!) I think you would outgrow the garage very quickly. And I like the idea of the office, and ‘away from your home’ too. WOWWWW!!!

Wow! Seems like a lot has been going on since I have been on! I do like your wifes idea better. I think deep down you do too because you had nothing but good things to say about the property. I also like that logo! Pretty sweet! Good luck with the online business. I am sure you will let me know when it is running so I can check it out!

Your success has skyrocketed and you 150% deserve it, my favorite SD alumni friend!! That’s an awesome idea you have about the house converting into a gym, and I can’t wait to see your products for your gym!! You know I’ll be first to get in line to buy a beanie (ya know, for when it gets to 50 degrees over here
).
YOU ROCK, MY FRIEND, and I’m so happy and excited for you!!!

Your mind just never stops working for a second does it my friend? Good for you brother I can’t wait to make the short trip to Mansfield to workout in your gym. Maybe someday your gym could sponser a contest. There’s something else for ya to think about.
