I am all over the place with competing! Yikes. Sad thing is that I have no doubt that I can do it and do it well. I may just wait until next year. I was shooting for Nov, but now I’m not sure. My goal was to get supa sexy by 36. I think I’ll just stick to that for now. It’s extremely important to have a goal to keep one on track so that’s mine. Anyway, I really don’t have a good reason for not competing. I’m just a chicken. I hate to lose. I hate to be embarrassed. Go figure;)

What do you do when you don’t have the support system at home to pursue bodybuilding, figure, or fitness modeling? How do you deal with individuals that clearly don’t like muscles especially women that have them? In most cases i’d simply say so what, but what do you do when the people closest to you stand in opposition? As stubborn as I am, I realize that this is not always the best route to take. Golly why does life have to be so dang difficult? Suggestions?

Dayum was that conceited? Well it is true nonetheless. I’m finally comfortable in my own skin. Hasn’t always been this way, but it is now:o). Am I where I want to be? Not quite, but hell i’ll be there or very close within the next month or so. I don’t think the mental aspect of transformation can really be understood unless you experience it! I’m so thrilled with my accomplishments that it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Nonetheless bb friends you motivate me to go an inch further, take a deeper dive, and try something different everytime I get comfortable! I can’t wait to see what my future holds and what i’ll accomplish next. Dayum i feel good! Can I put this feeling in a bottle?

I’m finally going to be able to concentrate on me! I’m taking off from training clients until mid September. This gives me a chance to focus on myself without trying to plan my workouts around my clients. I am so excited. Oh yeah baby i’m really gonna be sexy by my birthday now!*L*
If only I could find another goal to get me energized for the entire month of August. Oh well….i’ll work on it;) I’m so excited….Man what I could do if I didn’t have to work a full time job too!

I always push my clients when training but I kinda became stagnant in my own training. Sure I challenge myself to a degree, but i’ve not been taking it to "that" level. I pushed my weight on the leg press to 450 and it was not difficult at all! I know that may not mean much to some but it means a lot to me. So going forward and of course using wisdom, I’m gonna kill it seriously at the gym. Happy Workouts people!

I’m back to my original idea of possibly entering a contest. If I did, it wouldn’t be until November. If I weren’t such a chicken I would’ve never ever questioned my ability to do so to begin with. We’ll see what happens. I will train like it regardless;) It brings a certain excitement just thinking about it despite my fear;)

I’ve often thought about this. What is my motivation for checking the site and talking to my ‘internet’ friends so often? Well as a mother of four quickly approaching 40, I feel that the support system is of utmost importance. Yes i’m gonna do it anyway, but how much more enjoyable I find it to have others rooting for you along the way! I love watching me push my body to unknown limits and achieving goals that I set forth for myself. I’m here to continue to develop relationships with like minded people that have like minded goals and i’m enjoying the journey! I’ve met some great people and I surmise that I will continue to do so. I have love for all of the people i’ve formed genuine relationships with. You’re a Godsend:). You know who you are!

I’ve personally decided to embrace the philosophy of living each day as if it were my last. After all, what can we accomplish if we live our lives in this manner? Focus, drive, determination, fortitude, and the ability to finish are all elements that come into play when we know something is coming to an end. Human’s have an uncanny ability to accomplish so much when they feel challenged or threatened. So what happens when we embrace these tendencies on a normal basis? I think we have the ability to accomplish amazing things. Loving to the fullest, pushing ourselves to unfamiliar and unknown depths, inspiring others, leaving a legacy behind, teaching others within our sphere of influence, learning from others in that sphere of influence, embracing and accepting things that we cannot change, and giving of ourselves without expectations are elements that come to mind. Why not? After all, my fate tomorrow could be the very thing that I live by today.

Invidually centralize your efforts in worrying about things that pertain specifically to you…in other words…MIND YOUR BUSINESS! It never ceases to amaze me how others (haters) can find fault in people while making the assumption that they are so great! We are all living life one day at a time..on a journey so to speak. Live and let live for crying out loud.
I’ve noticed that haters just want to find fault while motivators want to build and encourage. All of us have opinions, but sometimes they are counterproductive. Attempting to tear others down is not productive and it makes the offender look needy and shallow at the least. Making judgment calls about an individual based on supplements used, breast implants, or anything that THEY choose to do is just silly. Mind ya bizness! Move around if it doesnt’ work for you ,but stop indicting everyone else on your own set of values… Like everything else we all have our own ideas of what beautiful is..that’s why we are individuals. My reason for being on this site is really simple. I have met some great people that I can talk to and that encourage me because we’ve formed friendships. If that’s not your purpose…quite frankly you need to get a life..
Haters will bring you down, complain, persist on finding faults in others, and they are always negative… Motivators will lift you up, most of the time find the bright side, tell you your faults but also offer solutions, and for the most part remain positive.
Haters talk about it while motivators ARE about it…..

It’s been very productive but also very challenging. I go through these phases of pure HUNGER where I cannot get enough to eat no matter what I do. I’m totally ravenous. Not sure what’s causing the spike other than the intensity of my workouts. My energy level and overall workouts are good but lately my appetite is off the charts. Not sure how to fix it. Can the week just be over? Dang…….
