Deafinatley lift weights! Dont lift super heavy. Id say go heavy enough so you can get out 12-15 reps. Keep it up withthe cardio, but make sure your taking in enoug protine so you dont lose your muscle. Im sure you know but muscle = metabolism... If you lose you muscle you body will burn food mor slowley.

eat VERY few carbs. Only rifght before a workout and some right after thats it. Eat meals the size of your fist or smaller VERY OFTEN! Ground chicken and turkey are your new best friends. I make meatballs now and just seperate them into 4 or 5 per serving. Super simpel, super cheap, and super quick!

Drink water like your life depends on it (well I guess it kinda does lol)... Other than those basics... Be comitted! You have to really want this. You have to get up every morning and tell yourself that you are a she-beats who is NOT going to stop until youve reach your goal.

I read an awesome quote on here yesterday... "Jelousy is earned." ...
You go ahead and do you girl!
Lets earn some jealousy!!!!

I feel your pain! I went through the same thing a few years ago when I wanted to advance my degree. It was a nightmare because no one wanted to give me a loan because I wasn't considered full time and I had three small children so I couldn't go to a brick and mortar school. It was very, very frustrating. I ended up saving up as much as I could and taking courses as I could afford them. It wasn't the ideal situation, and it took forever to complete, but the plus side is that I don't have student loans and I eventually finished! Of course that method is not for everyone (and it was a last resort for me), but it might be worth considering.

haha! my gosh it's like reading my own blogs....but from a female...which would be weird if i really thought about it....but i'm not going to :).

I TOTALLY know what you mean! I'm the "lowest" full-time student I can be. Why? Cuz of what you just said, it's a loan and it's online, but full-time at DeVry is only 2 classes at a time for my degree so it's "manageable" (which I won't define). You didn't outline your living situation but I'm a husband, more-than-40hrs/week employee, and "full time" student, and still have time for video games and chillin'. Maybe look into what other schools call "full time" (like DeVry's 2 classes minimum). Or make the commitment to go to school, which means you have to sacrifice some 'fun' stuff. When I first started, I know I had to do that, it's better now, but still not near perfect, but it never will be. Anything worth having is worth sacrificing and fighting for.

I know what it's like being at a job you don't love and knowing that you can be at a job u might love if you could get the degree, so I really hope you can somehow get there like I did. Oh, and even when you're approved it's not all fairies and rainbows either (hehe), I have had to constantly stay on top of my school to ask for the money because I'm approved from my loan company, but they messed up and didn't ASK for the money. BAH, but it's all working out, just a heads up. Good luck!!!
