November 30/08 - Full Body Workout
So I took a week off due to my injury or whatever you want to call it…I’m feeling like 5×5 is pretty much done…We did it for 6 weeks…not bad. Wish I could have kept on with it, but also feel like it’s time to switch things up. I felt pretty strong - didn’t lift overly heavy and went lighter for my lat exercises. Surprisingly, my lat didn’t hurt at all until I did cable curls! Anyways…pretty decent workout…I felt like I was all over the place. I hate full body though…and I didn’t do any direct work for hammies, calves, or traps. Here are my numbers:
Leg Press - felt like I definitely got stronger. Could probably jump up to 350+ lbs
- 300 lbs x 15
- 310 lbs x 15
- 320 lbs x 10
Pulldown - didn’t want to force reps or aggravate my lat, felt okay
- 85 lbs x 12
- 100 lbs x 8
- 100 lbs x 6
Hammer Extensions
- 25 lbs x 12
- 35 lbs x 10
- 35 lbs x 8
One Arm Rows - went really light with these
- 30 lbs x 12
- 30 lbs x 10
- 30 lbs x 8
Pec Machine
- 75 lbs x 12
- 75 lbs x 10
- 62.5 lbs x 8
Lateral Raises SS with Front Raises - delts looked nice and round today
- 15 lbs x 10 SS 22.5 lbs x 5
- 15 lbs x 10 SS 15 lbs x 10
- 15 lbs x 8 SS 15 lbs x 8
Cable Curls - very light..felt sick by this time
- 60 lbs x 10
- 50 lbs x 8
Pressdown - light here too
- 70 lbs x 12
- 70 lbs x 10

I have to figure out where to go from here though…I was doing so awesome with 5×5…I mean a 180lb squat?! I still want to reach 200! I have to figure out a game-plan for the next little while….Any suggestions on programs? I will be researching…I think I will only be able to train 3 days a week due to my boyfriend working crazy hours…he just finished working his 20th day in a row…going on 30 days…he doesn’t want to get sick by overdoing it with training. I’m still doing cardio MWF as well…

Thanks! I still feel so weak…I will be happy when I have every guy in the gym staring at me in amazement at my lifts…I mean, I only have about 1/2 the guys right now. haha
I want to lift heavier than all of them!!

well…..about this lifting only 3 times a week….i don’t know about all that miss nicole. You do consider yourself a bodybuilder right? You should split everything up and do like a 5 day or something. Do you have to always workout with your beau? I can’t imagine a girl that could stand actually lifting with me lol that would be insane!!!!!
oh, and you’re not weak you silly girl……quit thinkin that.

You should post something over in the workout section of the forums or check out the "Ultimate workout" sticky. I’m sure those guys would love having a woman who knows her stuff over there.
