Getting back into it…
Hey everyone,
Thanks for taking the time out to look at my BodySpace and read my blog. So I recently got back from a 4 week holiday in Europe and even though it was packed with activity (skiing and walking), as one does when they are on holiday they eat, and so I put on a bit of fat (those Swiss love their bread and cheese!!).
But my jetlag has gone, I think my brain has switched back on, and I’ve been back in the gym for a week. I wasn’t as schocked as I thought I would be with regards to my energy - I had plenty of it! My strength was down, (which is understandable given I had 6 weeks away from the gym), but surprisingly not nearly as much as I had expected. This has been a great boost and I had a great week back and am hoping I’ll be able to jump back up to where I was strength wise in a month or so!
I’ve started taking Nutrex Lipo6 and today I will start some cardio after consultation with my trainer (I don’t want to canabolise my muscles too much right now) to try and drop the fat I gained while I was away, and hopefully some more. Its going to be interesting though as I’m nearing a decision about competing later in the year… so if i want to compete, I need to start building and eating asap…
Anyway… enough rabbiting on from me for now. I’m going to endeavour to keep my BodySpace updated, keep a workout/diet journal and this blog alive, and get some pictures up (maybe even today).
Keep working hard everyone!
Nick

I hear you about the European gourmet! I got back from a similar vacation in November, and it definitely did some damage.
But I wouldn’t change it for the world! I still have dreams about some of the cheese and desserts I had in Paris.Mmmmmmmm. Keep us updated with your results!

Some things are worth taking a little detour for. From my experience any European food (except from England, blech) is definitely worth what damage it does. I’m sure you’ll be back on track soon.
