Hey everyone…
So i’ve been really good this week! In terms of my diet, and lifting, and cardio, and doing abs. Really pleased with my progress too (you can check out my workouts int he workout tracker…. comments are always welcome)!
But alas today is Good Friday and the gym is shut, so I had to do my shoulder and abs workout at home… means i could workout shirtless which was good… much cooler, but my workout suffered… v little equipment here and i couldnt do what i normally do.
Anyway… not much to report, but i’m coming along well, and i uploaded some pics that i took earlier today! Again, plz comment…
Keep training hard

So… a morning workout today, which I have not done in donkeys years, but man I am so impressed with it! I’m a bit of a freak when it comes to pumping up, but not in a good way…. most workouts I really struggle to get a decent pump, even though I have a decent workout. Today though? Wow… I was blown away…. my arms were so swole and tight… I found I had more engergy and focus and could really put my ‘mind into my muscle’ so to speak, and concentrate on contracting with strict form and not just going through the motions. This is what i managed to do… (oh and weights are all in KG’s not lbs… sorry yanks, but I’m in australia, and even though my gym is full of nautilus stuff, they are in KG’s and i’m too lazy to convert them all for you
)
TRICEPS:
Close Grip Bench Press: w/u - 20kgx16; 50kgx14, 14; 60kgx8 (last set supersetted with bench dips - 8 reps).
Overhead Extensions: w/u - 12.5kg x 1; 17.5kgx14, 14; 20kgx10.
Rope Extensions (High Cable): w/u - 14kgx16; 18kgx14,14; 23kgx10 (last set supersetted with dips - 8reps).
BICEPS:
BB Curls: w/u - 10kgx16; 15kgx14,14; 20kgx8 (last set supersetted with 21’s @10kg)
Preacher Curls: w/u - 10kgx12; 15kgx14, 14; 20kgx8.
FOREARMS:
Forearm Curls supersetted with Reverse Forearm Curls (Standing): 15kgx14(14), 14(14), 14(14).
I then finished with 1/2 hour of cardio on the Elpitical trainer - I had it set to the fat burner setting although I changed the intensity as I felt like it, did some "sprinting" and "hill" stuff…. kinda
Burned 411.9 cals!
Anyway… hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with another workout/blog update….
Train hard

Hey all…
So I’ve been slack with keeping my BodySpace updated, and I promise pics will be on their way soon… getting back into the gym and uni and work has been intense to say the least and haven’t had as much time up my sleeve as i’d liked to keep you all updated…. anyway….
Not really happy wiht my diet atm, so i’ve been doing alot of reading, specifically dieting for endomorph-types like me who tend to gain fat a little too easily…. so hopefully this week i’ll be feeling a bit tighter… My time spent in the gym is going well though! My strentgh is building back up fairly consistently, alhtough i’m not as cardiovascularly fit as i was a couple of months ago so my endurance is a bit down, but i’m slowling adding in more HIIT cardio as well as steady state for fat burning slowly (don’t want to burn out)….
So… not much else to report… just that i’m messing around with a few things and trying to get myself back on track!
Hope everyone’s well and lifting hard!

Hey everyone,
Thanks for taking the time out to look at my BodySpace and read my blog. So I recently got back from a 4 week holiday in Europe and even though it was packed with activity (skiing and walking), as one does when they are on holiday they eat, and so I put on a bit of fat (those Swiss love their bread and cheese!!).
But my jetlag has gone, I think my brain has switched back on, and I’ve been back in the gym for a week. I wasn’t as schocked as I thought I would be with regards to my energy - I had plenty of it! My strength was down, (which is understandable given I had 6 weeks away from the gym), but surprisingly not nearly as much as I had expected. This has been a great boost and I had a great week back and am hoping I’ll be able to jump back up to where I was strength wise in a month or so!
I’ve started taking Nutrex Lipo6 and today I will start some cardio after consultation with my trainer (I don’t want to canabolise my muscles too much right now) to try and drop the fat I gained while I was away, and hopefully some more. Its going to be interesting though as I’m nearing a decision about competing later in the year… so if i want to compete, I need to start building and eating asap…
Anyway… enough rabbiting on from me for now. I’m going to endeavour to keep my BodySpace updated, keep a workout/diet journal and this blog alive, and get some pictures up (maybe even today).
Keep working hard everyone!
