The last few weeks have been great… my body fat percentage is now down to 18.8%! As i said in the last post, this is nothing really to shout about, but all the same it is 7.8% lower than when i started my body transformation in November 2008. Once i get to 16.6%, a full 10% less than when is started, i will be very pleased. And then on towards 10%…Today i also added my first progress pictures.

It’s been about 4 months since i made a post here. In that time my bodyweight has dropped from 99.5 kgs (219lbs) to 86.3 kgs (189lbs). But, more importantly, my body fat percentage has dropped from 26.6% to 19.9%. Although 19.9% is still way too high, its a damn sight better than 26.6%, and is probably the first time i have been below 20% since i was a teenager. Now that i have witnessed real progress, and that i am capable of much more, i see absolutely nothing stopping me from achieiving my overall goal… 210lbs at 10% body fat. This is obviously going to take time… but I WILL GET THERE!

After the initial weight loss, which mainly took place in the first week (i went from 99.5-97.6 kgs), i have lost 0.4 kgs in the last week. This rate of loss is OK, but i feel like i am losing muscle just as quickly as fat;or rather my body fat percentage is not really changing (It was 0.7 lower two days ago than when i first started, but it fluctuates back to the level i had at the beginning). Of course, my weight loss has been minimal so far, so i suppose i will have to lose a significant amount of weight before i will see any really change in my body fat percentage. Regardless, i need to be more exact regarding the amount of calories i take in. Must sit down and count calories.I also realise my weights program is not exact enough. Must get advice about the best program for me.

11 days in and things are going OK. I have lowered my weight by 2.5 kgs and bodyfat by 0.70. The initial weight loss was too quick, but i needed time to discover how many calories i require to maintain bodyweight.I have kept to my diet, but still need to make it more exact.
