Week 1 - sorta
By the end of this week I’m supposed to be 185lbs to stay on track with gaining a lb a week.
Today I weighed in at the gym at 184.5lbs. Pretty pleased with that since I felt lighter, and I’ve gotten off to a bad start. Each week I should have to gain 1 lb, but this week had to be 3lbs. 2.5lbs isn’t bad. I had the swine flu earlier and now I’ve got a cold so I’m happy with my progress.
I also switched up my routine. My old routine was 4-5 times a week, 3×8-10. Chest+tris/Back+bis/Shoulders+abs/Legs.
Now I’m doing a 5×5 routine. Basically a 2 day split with at least 1 day of rest inbetween. Today was benchpress and bent over row. Optional exercises were abs and tris.
I’ve never done benchpress or bent over rows before so it was interesting. Felt good!
186lbs next week!
