Ugh, on the shelf again, and this is getting frustrating!!!!

Well, I’ve been having shoulder and elbow problems for the last 2 months and have taken a bit of time off.  There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to hit the weights and start lifting but can’t!!!  However, it’s even more frustrating when you have an injury and can only wait for it to heal.  I’ve been using Animal Flex for the last few weeks, and that’s seems to be helping, but still not 100 percent, so I have to wait…ugh!  Well, hopefully it won’t be long before I can get back into it.  I usually don’t write on here, but just had to, lol.  To everyone out there, enjoy lifting each day and make sure you take care of those joints!!!!  Peace!!!

On the Shelf…

Well, unfortunately I had a setback a few weeks ago.  I was in the gym, not paying attention, and had a 25 lbs. weight drop off of the bench press bar…ouch!!!  I broke my foot and have a cast on it now.  The Doc said I was lucky and this injury doesn’t require surgery, which is a bright spot!  However, it’s been tough sitting here each day since the accident and not being able to hit the weights.  I’m planning on doing some light upper body reps in the next week or so to start back up, but that’s about all I can do now.  Please, everyone out there, watch your feet!!! LOL  Later!!!

It’s a Start

Well, this is my first entry and I’m very interested to see where this site goes.  I don’t know how I stumbled on to this site, but I’ve read quite a few profiles on here, and it’s good to see the seriousness/determination from a lot of people towards working out and keeping/getting into shape.  I’m hoping to meet a people on here and pick up some workout/dieting techniques I do not know of yet.
