Finding that balance…
This off season my goal is to find balance in my life…physically and mentally.
As far as my training goes, I want to bring up my legs more…quads, hams and the booty
I am totally in love with my new routine, I trained legs yesterday and I am in serious pain today!!!! I dont have a set number of pounds I want to gain or anything like that, but to just overall gain some size and thickness so when I prep for my next show I get get leaner without the ’stringy’ look I tend to get…I wanna be FULL and LEAN. I’m goin to be rockin some wicked teardrops!
As far as my mental approach, thats where I’ve got my work cut out for me. I usually have an all or nothing way to do things and that is just not a healthy way. I got my new macros from my trainer…which includes cheat meals. I tend to completely blow my diet in the offseason, so I’m taking another path this time around. I will keep my diet 90% clean…but I’m also going to go out and enjoy life. When I prep, I’m so in the zone that I shut out the world…or post-comp I eat everything and anything. I will eat clean but if I want a treat, I’ll have a treat…the key is not to let it turn into a day, a week, a month and before ya know it…up 20lbs!
I had a fab Halloween….yes, I ate and ate a ton, but Halloween is only once a year! It was one day and back to clean eating today! I feel like $hit from all the junk, but I had fun and thats all that matters
I’m just being lazy and chillin on my couch all day…waiting for WS Game 4…praying Heavy B comes up big for us *crossing fingers*!!!!

I live by this mantra. In fact my overall goal always will end with perspective and balance of what I am doing and how fitness is just one part of my life!

it’s a good idea that you have a plan in place for the off season, your next comp prep will be that much easier !
