build baby build

so, i stepped on the scale for the first time since my competition and i’m up 5lbs. at first i was a little bummed but my diet has been less than stellar so its actually not that bad. aside from my post comp pizza party and the following day binge i actually did pretty well getting back into the swing of things. i went to the world series game 5 (both days!) and i just wanted to have fun and not worry about packing food so i just brought some protein bars with me…which i NEVER eat, so it kinda felt like a cheat. I went to the phillies parade on halloween and i guess i was in a crazy celebrating mood…i ate a ton of candy! i said i could have 1 piece…who the hell can have just 1??? i ate twix, pb cups, snickers, kit kats and my personal favorite butter fingers…oh, it tasted so good but i felt like crap for a few days :( now i remember why i dont cheat and keep my diet as clean as possible.

this morning i saw my trainer and we talked about setting new goals ect..he was not the least bit concerned about my weight. i am going to start a new training program next week and work on building more muscle. while i am so happy with my placing in my first show, i know that i can make progress and keep improving to come in with an even better package next time! so, looks like i’m back to building (i prefer ‘building’ over ‘bulking’ LOL!) my abs will get soft and squishy again but hopefully i can stay focused and not let it get into my head…but if i do i know you guys will be there to kick me in the ass ;)

    Yes the great tempation to eat candy, just reading this made my mouth water, but lets move on, stay focused, congratz on your 1st show and many more to come.

    Listen and listen good…5 lbs gain after competition?!?! Whats da big deal?!?!? How much of that is water you depleted yourself off?!?!? not to mention going back to NORMAL BF levels and all…
    So stop making big drama you crazy one… Go back to kickin @ss in the gym and get those carbs and protein in to bsck it up and lets build that biceps and triceps to match youe ENORMOUS quads, shall we?!?!?!?!?!!
