damn bum leg!!!
i had such a wicked workout this morning!! i am really happy with the progress i am making with my legs and of course my booty
i really think splitting my lower body into 2 seperate days has definately helped. i have a day for quads/calves and a day for hams/glutes…i feel like it has made quite a difference!
unfortunately, for the past week or so my leg has been in severe pain. i really dont know how to describe it. the pain is on the side of my left leg—its above my ankle but below my calf. LOL…i dont even know what to call that area, but damn it hurts
i have been walking with a limp for about a week now. it hurts to put pressure on it, but of course due to my high pain tolerance or pure stupidity (depending on your point of view) i have still been working out anyway. once i start lifting and get in the zone, i can just ignore it. when i’m running, the pain is really intense and its hard to ignore but i just keep pushing through it!
i am pretty pumped up since i’ve been able to hit my legs with 300lbs on the leg press. i’m kinda curious as to how much i could really lift. i start my leg days with squats and deadlifts so by the time i hit the leg press i’m already feeling like jello!!! i never really put much stock in the amount of weight i lift—just as long as i keep challenging myself. i suppose i just wonder what i could do with fresh legs
i’m off to go eat! egg whites and oats…yummy!!!

sounds like a high ankle sprain…ice and ibuprofen..rotate between ice and heat every 20 minutes and try to massage it the best you can

Shin splints, i use to get them all the time in the Marine Corps? I was told that its the muscle rubbing on the bone.

you might want to at least get your high Ankle sprain checked out. that is what it sounds like. Alot of basketball players and runners get those types of injuries. I know how it is to be in a groove, but you must get it checked out before it gets worst. Hopefully it is nothing, but you at least owe it to yourself to get it checked out. You wouldn’t want to jepordize your leg workouts. take care.
