diet, diet, diet!!!

i think everyone knows that when you really want to get serious and make some real progress…its all about DIET! i made some changes in my diet about 2 weeks ago…and i definately feel the progress i am making. i am going low carb/high protein again…it seems to work for me.  i keep my carbs around my workout/early morning and stick to veggies as the day progresses. i am eating about 1400 calories a day (110g carbs). i have one re-feed day, where i take in about 1800 calories (230g carbs)…i usually do that on leg day, when i NEED the energy :) on my rest day i drop my carbs to under 100g. many people dont like ‘low carb’ because they miss the energy they get from them…well, between my E/C stack and SP250 i have more energy than i know what to do with. i came home from the gym today after an intense workout and cleaned my whole house :) everyones needs are different, but i prefer high protein and lower carbs…i think the more carbs i eat, the more i crave…so im better off doing things this way. besides, carbs make my belly squishy…and who wants that!

i have to admit…i dont really care about easter. once i found out there is no easter bunny…i lost all interest :( my parents are cooking and want me to come over, but i really have no interest in eating their food…i dont want to cheat…no desire to! well, let me tell you…my momma is the sweetest thing ever! when she asked me to come over and i said (lied) that i hadnt given it any thought , she says "well, bring your own food…i wont be offeneded" ! how freaking cute is that…usually shes like "oh, 1 day wont kill ya, live a little". ya know, the shit thats so annoying to hear. the whole family will be there, so i cant wait to see the look on their faces when i walk in with my cooler :) is my momma the best or what??? she loves me…im her favorite!

i hope everyone has a safe and happy easter! if you do decide to indulge in candy…eat enough for me because i wont be having any :)

    Sounds like you are on the right track. Keep it up! Good luck with your progress. I have never tried the low carb diet.

    I love your diet, it pretty much looks like mine but somewhat less in calories. Your refeed day is awsome. You are so right about how everyone is different and they have differnt needs but all should try a low carb diet if their main goal is to lose weight.
    I"m not sure what you mean by squishy stomach for you look fine. Remember we are much more critical on oursleves. Make sure you listen to others on how you look. To us we never look good enough. Keep up the hard work and let’s see some veins badass..

    I lost 2 pounds a week like clockwork on a 1500 calorie per day diet last August to November. I didn’t spare any muscle, unfortunately. Next time I cut I’m definitely going to pay attention to the macros and keep my protein high.

    My mother is the same way with the whole one day won’t kill you bit. It is really bad around Thanksgiving/Christmas time as one day turns into several with all the family gatherings. It is cool that your mom understands your eating habits are important to you.

    GO enjoy yourself . Bring yuor own food and have fun . KILL the stress before it begins. Staying on track will keep the smile on yuor face and throw in a CARDIO workout before you go .

    hey…i have done the same thing when viviting relatives…I will even cook for them all the food that they want to eat and take my own to eat "drink" while they eat fat fat fat……so take your cooler, eat your food and feel good about what you are doing!!
